I like this mount. It is surprisingly sturdy and very easy to change position. It has 3 hinges, two of which rotate on 2 axes. The part that holds the phone is a clever design that can hold the phone with having to grip it like a vice even if it facing downward. I recommend it.

It’s a good alternative for a phone holder
I bought this product to try it out since my gooseneck product broke after 6 years of wear and tear.JSAUX Phone Holder is a good alternative when you need to have your phone on while being hands free. I use it during my recording sessions and such.Pro: It does lock onto the table very well with the tighening system. It can extend it’s reach and height. It’s easy to use. The phone doesn’t move when it’s pinched by the holder. The product is sturdy.Con: The extension cannot do a 180 rotation which is a big downside for the product. Depending on how you need to setup your desk, your limited to how you can set it up. It can only rotate one side. The piece that locks the phone should come with a pincher release mechanism or something, it can be hard to remove the phone from the attachment.Neutral: I think the product material is okay. Doesn’t feel cheap nor expensive.Overall: I think it’s a good alernative product however you can probably buy a better product that can do everything you need with setup wise.

This Black version phone holder is sturdy. What I like is that it is slim and looks neat. Color wise the rods are not pure black but more of a silvery light-brown-bronze color which to me is more pleasant than if all black. What can be improved:- There are 2 axis of rotation for each joint. The rotation for 1 axis is stepless. But for the other axis the rotation is in a fixed number of steps eg. 4 or 5 steps from 0 degrees to 90 degrees. As it is I am happy that it can be adjusted to the position I want. But it would be more versatile if this axis is also stepless.

Amended (7-2-2023): Since my original review, I’ve gotten an additional JSAUX cell phone holder and the tablet holder. I am pleased to report that there are no wobbles at all on my mobile desk. Every gadget is held super strong and in place. This should be their main selling point over other available options. Get the “Black (Plus)” version for cell/tablet. Fits any size tablet and any size cell phone.Set it and forget it……and again, no wobbles! :)Original review:Didn’t think I’d need a fully articulated phone holder for my desk, but time after time, Amazon proves me wrong. Certain gadgets just hit different, and this is one of them. I have a mobile desk, and the phone is mounted between both my laptops, perfectly. Wish I could include a picture but might include sensitive stuff, but trust, the pictures in the description do it justice. Just be sure to keep up with the little adjustment tool, you’ll find yourself making some additional adjustments along the way to get your setup just right.Hope this helps
