I bought this for my grandma. She lives in a private nursing home and has her own room with a TV, but with her advanced age her hearing is not too good. So she used head phones so she can raise the volume and not disturbed anyone else. The problem is that normal headphones the cord is too short so she is unconformable and can not freely move around. These worked perfectly.

Wow…just wow! I normally listen to my stereo set at about 20. If I’m really cranking it up, I might make it all the way up to 25. I put these earphones on and had to turn it down to 3 to avoid breaking an eardrum. The sound is great and the long cord is just what I needed. I like to listen to music right before I fall asleep and the longer cord enables me to lay down in bed while I listen. Love them!

Now Hear This!
Bought these because my wife complains that I play my music way too loud. Problem solved. For the price these do a respectable job. If you’re seeking deep, window-rattling bass sound these probably won’t satisfy your fetish. But for those of us who just want to listen to our music with headphones that reasonably reproduce sound at an acceptable level I recommend these. Yes you can spend a lot more for audiophile quality cans but for most of us these will do nicely.

I’ve bought these three times over the years, not because they keep breaking, but because I keep running over the cord with my desk chair and eventually cutting it.The extra long cord is why I keep buying these particular ones, but they do work great and the price is decent.
