Will the mini pc be very hot when it’s running without a fan?
This pc is fanless, and the CPU contacts the case directly, the case itself is a heat sink.
When it works, it likes a radiator to dissipate heat on its own to protect the device.
It can be relieved to use, as long as the temperature is under 90°C.
Can I install other OS after I get my computer?
Yes, you can.

A very effective solution for what I was looking for
IUPDATE – this did pretty well for two years. I had overheating issues when running zoom or teams meetings, and it unfortunately developed at tendency to drop USV devices, requiring a inconvenient reboot. I’m replacing it, but it did ok, especially for the price. I’m getting a similar device, but with more cores and a fan… The two things this device was lacking. wanted a desktop with a small footprint and a small price that could keep up with the apps that I needed it to run. I am not a gamer, but I do run programs such as outlook, visual studio, SQL server management studio, and other apps that are somewhat memory and processor intensive. This device keeps up with all of those, even if they are all running at the same time. The HDMI ports work perfectly. As do the 8th USB ports. The audio is surprisingly good, and overall the devices performed without a hitch.Set up with simple and easy. I feel I got exactly what was advertised, and what I was hoping for.For pros, this computer has a very small footprint. It runs absolutely quiet. It is very responsive, and the processor seems quite capable to keep up with memory intensive apps. I was able to attach keyboards, mice, USB speakers, a webcam, they Network hub, USB extenders, and more all without any difficulty at all. I was able to be up and running in less than 10 minutes. The wireless receivers look like a joke, but they worked very well. It handled the 3D slicing tasks for my 3D printer without a hitch, and applications such as visual studio work as well as they do on my much more expensive box for work. I am actually surprised by the performance, and I’m very pleased with it overall. For the negatives, I did notice that it got really hot running Microsoft teams. It probably would have been fine, but I went ahead and bought a USB fan that blows air over the top of it that I turn on during video conferencing calls. There was no issue, it just felt really hot when I touched it. Other than that, it did get warm, but not very hot at all, even running processor intensive tasks such as compiling and the like.Overall, I have had no problems with this device in the two months I have been using it. I literally use it everyday, and I use it to drive to monitors without any difficulty at all. It is a better device than I was hoping to get, especially for the price! While I have not had to contact the seller for any troubles, they proactively have reached out to me to provide license key information as well as to proactively ask me if I had any difficulty. They offered assistance, but I didn’t need to utilize any, so I cannot speak to how the company actually is, but from what I saw, they performed very satisfactorily. In the end, I have a great device that seems like it will perform quite well for me, and if I were to need another one, I would not hesitate to buy this again, or recommend it to my friends.

survives the warehouse
We’ve had one of these computers in our Receiving department, the room that encounters the most dirt build-up in the warehouse. Previous computers with fans would pull in dust coating all surfaces causing heat build up, fan failure, and eventual heat death. While it isn’t the speediest computer, it gets the job done for basic warehouse apps and has been trouble-free. Plenty of USB ports, and it bolts nicely to the corrugated steel wall, out of the way and secure. This is our second purchase based on our success with the first. Having an old-school serial port was helpful for connecting Zebra label printers we still have around.Computer came with no bloat-ware of any kind, and Windows already activated. It did have an admin account set up with no password for the initial log in which we removed. You may feel more comfortable re-installing Windows, but we’ve had no issues with the pre-installed version.Compared to other industrial-grade fanless offerings, this is an exceptional value.

Perfect for my needs – 8th purchase and counting
These Kingdel units are a great value and have served my needs perfectly. I’ve purchased at least 8 of them over the last few years for my office workstations as well as home use. There’s several different configurations of RAM, SSD size and USB/HDMI configurations so we’ve been able to get slightly different models but all look pretty much the same. Some locations I have mounted them under the desk, some on the wall and others directly to the back of the monitor stands for a really clean look.

Nice fanless unit
Still setting this up and testing. My configuration performs well against regular desktops for half the cost. I cannot use bitlocker as there is no TPM chip (Not a major issue, but good to know ahead of time. One can use hardware encrypted SSD instead)The unit runs warm, but not hot. Came with activated windows 10 PRO 64 bit. The key was also emailed to me. No documentation or separate/printed license key so I suggest the first thing to do is to make a full windows 10 system backup to a labelled USB, including the license key, and put it in a safe place. After configuring the PC to your satisfaction, make another complete backup onto a different labelled USB key. This is probably good process for any PC.I note that the motherboard has configured heat protection – a very important feature for a fanless PC!For my purposes the multitude of com ports are redundant, but I can use the dual 1 GB ports, several USB ports and dual HDMI ports could be useful in other applications. Subject to ongoing reliability (I suspect that good ventilation needs to be provided) this is a good buy.

Great Computer / Seems to be High Quality
I bought this computer to be a (Linux) server, both a file server and a web server. Right out of the box, I was impressed with the materials used for the case. It is in a solid, all metal box. The connectors are high quality as well. I have had the computer in service for about a month now, and it is operating very well. It handles the load with ease. This low-power, fanless computer packs a good punch!

Computer had to be returned to China for repair after 4 months. no replacement sent back
This computer is a useful piece of equipment, but mine failed after four months of use….no video output. I had to ship it to China at a cost of $81.00 to hopefully get repair or replacement. After nearly two months I am still waiting to get a functional computer back. It was returned to the manufacturer for repair, but failed testing. The supplier refuses to send out a new or functional machine.
