great experience but be gentle with them
I’m extremely happy with these headphones. The sound quality is phenomenal with music while still being useable for listening to audiobooks and voice only sources (I had a pair of bose that were worthless for anything but music). The battery life is great and the bluetooth connectivity is flawless with my iphone 8 and macbook. While not being noise cancelling these have good noise reduction without being too hot in the ears. The travel case is top notch being both slim and sturdy. Now for the negative side, as other reviewers have pointed out these headphones have a lot of thin plastic pieces on them. They “feel” fragile and I’m constantly reminded to be extra careful with them as they clearly will break under any kind of stress, that is judging by the pictures others have posted. If you take care of things and are careful then I don’t think you’ll have any issue with these headphones being more fragile than many others on the market. I do wish there was a version of these that costs a bit more that had aluminum in place of plastic for some of the pieces most likely to be under stress (ear cup hinge pins, pressure fitting for the ear extenders) so I’m giving them 4 stars for material.

Great sound and all-around comfort.
Works great, as do all Klipsch products! One star taken off due to small broken plastic bits around the earphoneâs head adjustment sliders.Otherwise, enduringly perfect sound and great all-around comfort!

Battery life seems to be really good (haven’t had to charge it yet)
[UPDATE] After a year of very gentle usage (used it maybe once a week on average) the plastic parts at the end of the cushioned headband developed hairline cracks. Based on other peoples review, I think this is a design flaw. I am just outside the warranty limit by one week, and have not found a useful link on their company website to contact them regarding this issue. I would not recommend these headphones anymore. What use is a good sounding headphone when it is breaking down even after moderate use.Purchased this headphone a week ago and loving it so far. Battery life seems to be really good (haven’t had to charge it yet), it is really comfortable, and the sound quality is superb. Originally, I was considering the Sennheiser PCX 550 or the Bose QC 35, but the Sennheiser was just too expensive for my current budget (although I was surprised by the sound quality and how well the noise canceling feature worked) and I didn’t really like the sound of the QC35. Then I realized I don’t really need the noise canceling feature, so I broadened my search to other headphones and ran into the Klipsch Reference series. I first ordered the on-ear version, which was $50 cheaper, but found it to be uncomfortable to wear for a long period due to the pressure it put on my ears. So I decided to return the on-ear pair and got the over-ear and I am very happy with my decision. I found out that the drivers in these pairs are different from those that are in the on-ear version which justified the price difference. (I am not sure why Klipsch doesn’t emphasizes this more, at first it seemed like an extra $50 for different shapes of the ear cushions) I read some complaints online about the bass being weak, but I think those might be coming from people used to headphones with a bass boost. I am no audiophile, but in my opinion the sound of the Kilpsch reference is very well balanced and the bass is precise. I had the best listening experience for classical music, but I think this depends on a personal taste.

So far, so good…
Edit: After spending more time listening to these, i really dont enjoy them. It really kills me to say that. Ive loved every Klipsch Product ive ever owned, but these are bad… The build quality is excellent and clarity is nice, but i have one question…. Where the hell is the bass? I listen mostly to rock, so i prefer tuned down bass. But these have literally zero bass….almost negative bass. They certainly sont sound like $249.99 headphones. Ill give it a few more days, and see if i can adjust. Otherwise these are going back, and i really want to like these, but i need at least a little base….Disclaimer: Ive only had these in my possession for twenty minutes, and will update this review in a few days. For the time being, i will rate this product at 4 stars. To start, i am a die hard Klipsch fan. I have the RSB-11 soundbar, Klipsch Groove portable speaker, and Klipsch R6I in-ear headphones. All are fantastic products. Im someone who seriously cares about the quality of the sound. I like to hear everything in the music. Typically, Klipsch has been fantastic with this.Diving in, the packaging for this product is excellent. Well designed, and efficient. Included is the instruction booklet and warranty card. Upon opening the package, youll find a leather carry case for your headphones. Inside is the headphones, charging cable and audio passthrough cable. The build quality of these headphones seems excellentm theyre extremely light weight and comfortable. Theyre also relatively low profile, and not as bulky as some other headphones ive tried (Such as JLAB Bombora).Sound quality seems good, but lacking in bass. Now, buying Klipsch, i expected and prefer toned down bass. But i feel like klipsch may have drowned out the base just a little too much. Otherwise, so far everything else sounds wonderful. You can hear so much background detail brought forward. The bass does kick, but it isnt boomy, and its not necessarilly a bad thing, i may just need to adjust. I typically listen to various sub genres of Rock, so bass isnt super important. Moving on, the mids and highs are great. I feel like Klipsch whould have added in a built in equalizer, to adjust the sound to your liking. But i can live without that. I personally believe all headphones sound better after being broken in. So i will update the review in time.In conclusion, i so far enjoy and recommend these.

Was soll man also machen ? Zukleben ?
