Very lightly used, good deal
I looked up the SN info for the laptop I received. It originally got bought with a 4 year Lenovo warranty which has recently expired. From reading out the hardware info, the SSD has about 1500h of runtime, with total RW of 7TB, all of it really light for a 4 year life. The battery states 90% capacity, still giving ~6h runtime when lightly used in power efficiency mode. In any case, for the T480 series, the battery is just a slide in, you can easily buy a replacement and replace the existing one, should it ever become necessary. The laptop has zero signs of physical use. Touchpads and keyboards are usually first parts of failure for these, but the laptop I received looks/feels untouched. So is the screen and case, not a single mark or scratch. The laptop most likely spent its entire life with a closed lid in a docking station, only seeing light use and now got decommissioned because of warranty end of life.I have been a Thinkpad user all my life and this is a decent deal, given that this will likely still be good for 3-4 years of heavy use. Some notes/warnings:* The laptop comes with Windows 10 Pro and is not capable of running Windows 11. So starting with 2025 you will be without security updates. You can totally continue to use it with Linux, however.* 1366 x 768 is obviously not the greatest screen resolution* No backlit keyboardBut nothing in the description claims anything to the contrary so no stars deducted.I am not a big fan of tablets without keyboard, so basically I use this as a tablet replacement for web-browsing/videos when I don’t want to carry bulkier 15′ laptops around the house. It’s absolutely perfect for that.

Great Refurbish
The laptop I ordered came with a pretty good setup. I am pleased with the product.

The laptop stopped working after three days due to a faulty hard drive.
I purchased this laptop, and after just three days of use, it suddenly stopped turning on. Diagnostics indicated a faulty hard drive. Every time I tried to test it, the system would freeze.I contacted the seller to ask about a partial refund so I could replace the hard drive myself. Unfortunately, they informed me that the only option was a full return. Since returning the laptop from Canada to the U.S. would cost me 45 CADâmore than the price of a new hard driveâthe return was not a viable option. In terms of the external condition, the laptop was in decent shape. However, there is a slight issue with the screen: a small area in the bottom-left corner has some color distortion. While this doesnât affect performance, it’s still noticeable.

Excellent Condition
The computer came on time and is in great condition! I checked the hardware and it looks great. The battery life is decent and I downloaded an operating system off of a flash drive for personal preference, it worked quickly.

Nice computer
For the price itâs hard to beat this setup. The dual batteries seem to last forever. Mine came with both batteries maintaining over 98% charge compared to new. The keyboard and body is mint. For what Iâm using this laptop for, itâs perfect. My only negative comments are:- Screen resolution is just OK.- Canât upgrade to Windows 11

Such an awesome deal!
I feel like I got a great deal on this refurbished laptop. I needed it right away for online doctorâs appointments and to participate on a virtual collaboration project. The computer is very clean with no damage. I was prepared to spend several hundred dollars that I really couldnât afford when I found this laptop for less than $200!

Amazing laptop, serious quality.
Not only is this laptop perfect for Linux use, its speed is amazing. My only complaint is the storage is small, but luckily the SSD and Ram are both upgradeable. Honestly for the price I couldnât ask for better. Amazing screen quality fast processing and a fingerprint scanner. The battery life is not 10/10 but itâs not bad by any means and charges very fast with the USB-C charger. Thanks to whatever vendor sold this, arrived in 3 days during the Holidays!

Pristine Condition
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the “reconditioned” ThinkPad T480! It arrived with verylittle signs of use previously. Packed well during shipment and battery says it charges to 100%.Setup went smoothly as did the upgrade from Windows 10 Pro to 11 Pro. Keyboard is very nice.Everything that I have checked out has worked flawlessly. I paid around $350 for a machine thatprobably sold for $1500-$2000 when new. Everything as advertised. Happy–Happy–Happy!!!

I’ve bought plenty of tech over the years, including dozens of computers. If a general purpose laptop is what you need, you can’t go wrong with a T480.Is it new? No, nor is it the latest bleeding edge tech. But if that’s what you want you wouldn’t be reading this. What it is though, is a reliable, enterprise class laptop computer with excellent features, ease of use, and enough power to handle almost any non-gaming related tasks. It was capable enough when it arrived, but I upgraded to 32GB of ram and a 2TB NVMe drive and it turned into a little powerhouse.

Seems like I got a bit of an upgraded machine so I’m pleased about that. Everything works as well or better than I hoped. There are some cosmetic marks on the screen and cover but easily worth it for the trade up in performance. I’m very pleased with this purchase. It came well packed and on time. Batteries are decent too

Junk old laptop with tons of wear, the wrong hard drive and a sticker covering the entire inside including trackpad. I’m angry. What a waste of everything.

Mine came with horrible battery life. Company contacted me and offered a replacement battery. Its been 2 months no battery has ever came. Wouldnt buy from them again would have returned had they not offered to replace battery. Now its too late to return and still no replacement.Would be zero stars if I could rate that low.
