Perfect for my needs
I bought this as a replacement for my educational laptop. Works as intended, no frills. Would have liked to have had the barrel jack charger instead of USB-C.

Great for all-round use
When I originally got this laptop and booted it up, it had an OS error, so I had to re-install Windows on it. However, after that (~1hr) error was resolved, I must say that I am impressed with this laptop.I’m going into college next year, and thought I should get something that would be future proof for at least the next 5 years. The new-gen processor and high amount of RAM (it is DDR4 @ 3200 MTs, was not mentioned in product listing) make for a smooth web-browsing and multitasking experience.Additionally, the build quality is nothing to complain about. It is sleek, and the keyboard is responsive but very quiet. Now, the only couple problems that I had with this laptop (and this is just personal preference), are –The screen does have a decent amount of glare when in brighter spaces, but for normal office work, it is no problem.I had some problems with the speed at which the laptop charged, but the battery life is decently sizable, so just remember to charge it at night or whenever you aren’t using it.In case it appeals to you, this thing can also do a little bit of gaming. Of course, not groundbreaking performance, but the 1080p screen and integrated graphics combo let me get about 60 frames on Minecraft, which is a pretty smooth and surprisingly good performance coming out of a business laptop. For a standard 15.6 inch notebook laptop, this thing certainly does justice at the price point. I imagine a laptop like this being relevant and completing every task that you throw at it swiftly for, at the very least, the next five years (who knows, this might even last the next 10 or 15).

First item had no backlight, seller made it right
Despite having the correct model number, the first laptop I received had no keyboard backlight. The seller advised me to return it. The replacement has the exact same part number and it does indeed have a backlit keyboard, so it’s all good now. In fact I’m writing this review on it.Something must have gone wrong on Lenovo’s end. Kudos to the seller for agreeing to the return after a reasonable amount of troubleshooting / investigation.

FAST, STORAGE & SIZE
THE SCREEN SIZE A LITTLE TOO SMALL BUT FOR THE PRICE THE AMT OF STORAGE IS AMAZING.

Used, dirty power cord
The first thing that I saw when I opened the packaging was a filthy, old looking power cord. It was bound with a dirty old looking rubber band. I never went any further, didn’t look at the computer. I question if this was really a “new” computer, the power cord certainly was not new.

Decent Computer- Lousy Battery Life
This is a decent machine for the money, but the battery life is disappointing.
