perfect for traveling abroad
I bought this chromebook as a cheap computer for accessing the internet while traveling abroad, with the thought that it would not be a big loss if it got damaged or stolen. this is now my primary laptop, and i own a gaming MSI and a Nitro17.+ the chrome OS is outstanding, it seems efficient and lightweight+ the battery life is amazing. my other laptops are almost always plugged in when being used, this one almost never+ prime, youtube, netflex, everything you could want and google’s productivity suite is decent+ a surprisingly large screen, especially for the weight and thinness+ microSD – i’ve already gotten 2 512 GB cards

So Much Better than a Laptop
I was so sick of buying super expensive laptops, so I decided to give a Chromebook a try. I’ve never looked back. It is perfect. I expected to have to periodically replace it, but I was dead wrong. I love it. Works exactly the same as my laptop. The only drawback for some is that it is not meant for gaming. But, if that’s not a worry, it’s perfect. I’ve used it for personal and work, and have not run our of storage room yet

Quality and value
I’ve purchased dozens of Chromebooks for clients who need reliable, durable, and capable devices. Over time, we’ve homed in on the best options and brand. Lenovo has excellent quality at a competitive price. This is the cheapest Lenovo Chromebook option in this model line, and it has a 14″ touchscreen. Many similarly priced Chromebooks from other brands do not. This model and the same model previous year stand up to hospital demands. Many people use them, they are used and charged daily, and they get dropped and spilled on and often have to be antiseptically cleaned. I have to deal with Chromebook repairs and see far fewer of these than other brands and only from serious abuse. There are a few things I don’t like, but most apply to all Chromebook, like accessory options like protection and connected pens even from 3rd parties, needed improvements to OS which Lenovo can’t control, and the fact that Lenovo is a Chinese owned company (I have to consider HIPAA implications). But overall, this model has been the go-to for us for some time.

Great middle of the road Chromebook
This is mainly a travel laptop for me. I just need it for browsing, YouTube, Netflix, etc… Maybe a bit Gmail but otherwise very limited. This is not a high-powered laptop. Yes, it boots fast (Chromebook) but you can tell it is not a flagship, which is fine based on the price. Everything I state is based on that price. The screen is great, I would complain if this would be a $1000 laptop. Cam is also fine, battery life is much better compared to all previous Chromebooks I had. The keyboard is good but it is awkward coming from previous Chromebooks or my work laptop. It feels too wide and I need to look at the keys while typing but as I said, use it for watching videos ;)I buy a new Chromebook every two years (and give the old one to family) and I just know, this will be a great travel laptop for two years 😉

Very good Chrome Book at an excellent price.
This is my fourth Chromebook. I have been purchasing HP Chromebooks, this Lenovo had more memory and about everything else the HP had for $130 less. I have been very happy with my Lenovo.John J.

Meh?
I had to get a new chromebook as my HP one kept “switching” keys…every time I pressed a 3, I’d get a 6, and if I pressed a 6, I still got a 6!…and HP would NOT help solve the issue. This was the 3rd time I’ve had to replace an HP chromebook… So, when I needed to replace it, I wouldn’t even consider another HP. This one came up. It was newer and I was really hoping for better. To me it feels very “glitchy”. There’s a hesitation or “glitch” constantly, which I find irritating. The screen is ok, but nothing compared to the screen quality on my 17.7 laptop. Everything transferred seamlessly, and was up and running instantly. The things I did have problems with, I was able to resolve relatively fast. I do wish it ran smoother, but there’s not a lot of other options out there so I’ll probably end up keeping it. I haven’t thrown out the box yet though, so subconscientlly I must still be one the fence about it. The battery life is definitely good.
