Wanted to try a high-power USB-C for under $5. Paid $4.55 for 6.6ft version
I feel that price informs value and try to include the price paid in all my reviews. I highly recommend everyone do the same. In this case I paid $4.55 on 11/20/23.As far as a sub-$5 USB charging cable goes, this is really good stuff. It feels durable, with a textured (braided-like) finish I really enjoy. My scenario maxes out at 120w for usb, but this cable delivered that power flawlessly and didn’t even get warm after charging for hours @120w. I have full confidence it could supply the advertised 240w.I have only used it for charging, but for those that want data and charging cable, this is only USB 2.0 according to the description. The industry seems to have moved into segregating hi-power and hi-speed usb cables, so not the fault of this product. Just a note.There is a bit of sneakiness worth noting that the “lowest price in 30 days” apparently doesn’t include coupons, so as of this review it is more money and still showing the lowest price in 30 days which is factually incorrect.I will definitely pick more of these up next time they are on sale for under $5. Not a bad deal at all even at current price.

Good affordable, alternative to apple cable
After my puppy chewed my Macbook charging cable my husband purchased this one for me. This is a well-made braided cord and it charges well and fast. I’ve had it for a few weeks and I’m satisfied. It charges just as well as the Apple brand cord and works well with the original charger. Overall, it is a good purchase and if I need another I will buy again!

I am able to use this on my rog ally which needs around 61 to 66 watts of power. , not sure about how long it will hold up for i will update this review if quality does not last , cord is not too thick or too thin which I really like , make sure you pair this with the proper wall adapter so you can use it to its full potential , it’s ease of use is simple , and it does charge fast

My new go-to brand for charging cables
Since TB4/5 cables are not cheap, with legit rated USB4 cables not far behind. So, I use these for charging cables and save my expensive data cables for data.Theyâre cheap, durable and discreet. So far, theyâve done whatâs marked on the tin, no more, no less. The plugs hold securely and transfer the correct amount of juice for the charger and device paired with it. Iâve had no problems drawing the full 140W through it while charging my MBP16. Iâve yet to use it with anything rated at 240W.They coil easily, have braided cable covers and have I mentioned theyâre cheap?

Best bang for the buck
If you were looking for the absolute highest-end product, you wouldn’t be checking the reviews of the cheapest option for this type of cord. But you certainly don’t want to get ripped off, either. You want the best bang for the buck. I’m with you. That’s where I am on this purchase. I did enough research to realize that there are a few potentially better cords out there, if you want to pay a lot more for an Apple-brand version of the same thing. And there are certainly a whole bunch of worse cords out there. Mostly, there are a ton of more expensive cords with lower charging and download speeds.This one arrived the same day I ordered it, which is rare where I live. It is exactly the prescribed length. It feels stronger and more resilient than my original cord. It’s one of few options above 100W. And it charged my Macbook Pro in just over an our hour. No complaints here. Will it last forever? There are no guarantees, of course. But at this point, if this one breaks, I’ll probably assume it was me crimping the cord accidentally, and I’ll probably just reorder this exact same cord again.
