4.5 stars. REALLY GOOD with just 2 minor issues.
This thing is SOLID. It will stay where you flex it. The base has 2 ways to mount it which IS handy. I REALLY LIKE THIS and it’s 100% worth the $. I have a Galaxy Tab S8 with a case that has a hand strap on it. It does fit the clamp but only just. To be fair it’s not made for this but it works. If the tangs where just half an inch longer it would be perfect. Fits without a case and doesn’t go anywhere but I can’t recall the last time I used any tablet without a case. Still works!!!! The other issue is the last 2 arms after the double arms. It’s going to wear out fast for me. I am pushing the upper limits wight wise but the screw has to be REALLY tight. REALLY tight. Even then those with heavy devices will have to do what I did. I folded the arm back so it rests on the other arms (shown in pic) Honestly have no issues with this. I don’t need the extra distance. The worst part of this (ALMOST PERFECT) arm is the ball arm. It has no knob to tighten so you need a tool. Fine for me. I have them EVERYWHERE. (IT guy) Again I have it resting on the other arm (shown in pic) and again I don’t need this adjustment. The ball joint itself is AWESOME!!! EZ to use and ez to move and it stays in place when you move it. That and the clamp itself are top notch!!! I need to re read the info to find out why there is an unused hole in the arms where a spring would go. Maybe another model has two springs. Maybe you get more holding power if you move the bolt and spring to the 2nd hole. That’s on me not knowing and not the company. Although it’s the PERFECT place for a clip that I am going to 3d print to hold the power cord. A simple twisty tie or velcro strap would work as well.VERY happy with my purchase. The minor gripes are mainly from me having a fairly heavy case.I highly recommend getting this arm for tablet users. Sorry I don’t ever plan to put my phone in it but I’m sure it’s MORE than up for it and my minor gripes won’t mean anything. I’ve had more expense arms that were much worse than this.The only upgrade I would request would be get rid of the plastic knobs at the joints. Make them out of metal or use metal twist and fold clamps.(think removable bike seat clamps)Add some plastic clips for power cord control and you have a perfect product for my tablet holding needs. Oh yea. I use this on my bed so I can restworkplay all at the same time.Check it out. I think you will be happy with the performance. Customer service seems top notch. I got an email after ordering the product talking about a change they included. Honestly would have never known the difference so that’s a really nice touch. A company that proactively tries to curb questions or provide extra information when they don’t really need to says a lot about a company. It’s an inexpensive product that gets customer support like high priced product. THAT’S customer care!!!!!Pictures show the last two segments using each other for support as my tablet case is sturdy which means heavy. Without the case there are no issues and the tablet sits right where I need it to so just a heads up..

Sturdy and great function
I needed this mostly to hold my phone steady and in position for video calls or Instagram Live interviews on my phone. It works great for my phone, either using the small attachment to grip my phone on the sides, or the large attachment which grips it top and bottom (while still leaving a space to plug in the power cord if needed). I don’t think I’ll need it for my iPad, but I put in my iPad still inside the keyboard case, and it holds that fine as well even with the additional weight (I did have to tighten the fittings to keep it from drooping, but it did work). This is an excellent product for a great price. Highly recommended.

I’ve owned a few of these mounts and this is probably the best of them, although it could definitely improve.The clamp is plastic, from experience this will eventually crack/break if it’s not mounted on the perfect table edge without ever being overtightened. This would be much better if it were steel or aluminum.The table mount has multiple options for placement of the articulating arm, which is GREAT as I’ve got different tables that all require me using a different placement.The phone and tablet mounts can be swapped quickly and have no defects that I’ve found, and hold their intended item very sturdily.Unlike other mounts that I’ve owned and reviewed, this one can actually be moved and adapted to ANY angle I’ve needed.

Fits the S9 Tab Ultra
I was a little worried when I realized that this product wasn’t specifically for the tablet that I own! However, the stand works perfectly. It comes with 2 attachments, one for the size of phones, and one for the size of tablets.The tablet stand is what I’m using in my recording studio, so I can record audiobooks reading them from my tablet. The S9 Ultra is huge, so initially I was a little concerned it wouldn’t fit. However, it fits perfectly!Mounting it is very easy, although depending on how it is oriented I would only use specific ones. I think there are 3 or 4 locations to attach the actual arm to the mounting post, however in some orientations this would be sideways or even upside down. Since I don’t want it to fall, I placed it upright and was able to make it work just fine.It’s very maneuverable, however it can be difficult to “lock”, certain parts of the arm do not seem like they are meant to be kept still. It’s not been an issue though, just something I’ve noticed.Very happy with this product! These mounting arms can be pretty cheaply made, but this one feels robust and I don’t think it will be falling apart like some of the others that I’ve encountered.

HAVE HAD IT FOR ONE YEAR
I had this for a year or so now…..I find it to be sturdy and holds my ten inch tablet well. THE ADJUSTABILITY is really nice but….the arm is so long it tends to wobble some while your typing but not a deal breaker….I’ve gotten use to it…..I would say the arm is a good 3 feet long….and its clamped to a TV stand….so its not the stand moving……but I just want to let people know unlike the last one I had made by someone else this one still holds up my tablet after a year…..of constant use……but….the problem thing I don’t like is the clamp that holds the tablet IS TO TIGHT and has no tension adjustment…..I am using a 10.1 tablet and…..it fits but it’s snug…

This works really well. I had a couple of gooseneck phone holders for the bed, which kept snapping because of bending it too much. This is a much better alternative. You can just push it aside when you’re done with it. You can also tighten bending points to provide greater resistance.
