    Will not hold large phones upright
    The magnets are fine and work through the phone case BUT the weight of the phone is too much for the ball and socket mount and it always tips down till the edge of the phone is resting on the rack.Looking for a new option.EDIT – manufacturer reached out to me and said my original one was from a bad batch. They new one functions perfectly!

    Simple and effective
    This thing is amazing! Super strong magnet for my MagSafe iPhone – it’s not going anywhere. I love that the other side is also magnetic and it sticks well to my power rack, but also is moveable. I can mount it to lots of things for accessibility and camera angles to check my form. Love this!

    Hey Gym Mate—-I love this product and I was so excited to use it, the first few days it worked perfectly fine, but after about one week of use, the phone drops slowly (I have the iphone 15 pro max), I saw on a review that you provided a customer The New Gym Mate (black design). Could I replace the one I purchase with the new item design that will support by pro max, please?     Solid mount, well made
    This thing will stick your phone to any metal piece of gym equipment, and the swivel ball is nice and tight, so it won’t drift out of position. It’s great for taking videos of your form for review.

    Updated review : Much better design for bigger phones
    UPDATE:The company reached out to me for more information on my review. After a few emails we decided to switch to a different Gym MateThe new Gym Mate that was sent is a different design and the magnet on the back is so much better.I have an iPhone 14 pro max with a waterproof case. I was able to mount the phone on the Round pipe of the elliptical Gazelle and it never moved for the 2 mile workout. I am very impressed with this mount and would recommend it for the larger phones.The company customer service was respectful and never hesitated to try and help.Thanks.The magnet for the phone is vey strong and will hold your phone. The magnet on the other end is not very strong and will fall off the equipment.

    Good for a few months.
    First off, the magnet is very strong and study. No way your phone is gonna fall off this bad boy. Unfortunately, after some time, the weight of your phone will pull the angle down so your phone will never be perfectly straight because the little ball bearing becomes loose. There’s no way to tighten it. Overall, good in the beginning but not after 3ish months.

    Great for heavy equipment!
    Bought this when I was operating equipment, as long as the cab has medal this thing will stick to it and had no issues with my phone falling. I used it in an excavator, dozer, scraper and loader with no issues.
