A must have product for your grow!
I was extremely surprised how strong the fan was being that it was built in and a lot smaller than the other 4-in fan that I purchased. With that being said it is about twice as strong as the other setup that I have and if I would have known that to begin with then I would have just purchased these from the beginning. With that being said I highly recommend them and they are very efficient and simple to use. And it also you can use it for intake or exhaust. Just flip it around and that will either breathe in or breathe out the airflow. It’s a little bit louder than my other device but that’s okay because the event fan is traveling a distance and also with curvature so I believe that’s what’s making a whistling noise. The carbon filter reduces the smell so it works very good! The only issue is I only have one of them , not four! LOL

great product works great for dual room grow tent!
This worked perfect rite out of the box and into the tent! MELONFARM FOR THE WIN! Brought temps down in my veg and clone side of the tent perfectly has a prefilter on it just haven’t put it on as of yet. For the fan it self it works great has a great adjustment knob that you can change the speed of the fan to suit your needs. On full blast it is just a touch loud but it is manageable to deal with. all in all this is well worth the money! by the way this one is good for a 2×2 or 3×3 at max. hope this helps anyone in the fence about buying one. i know im getting the larger 6in for sure when i need a new filter on the other side of my tent! 🙂

Works Great for a 4 x 4 Tent
This came in a smaller box than a typical carbon filter, and in-fact, it is smaller than average. However this doesn’t affect the performance. The fan is strong enough to create enough negative pressure in my tent when turned to 75% that it pulls the sides of the tent in. So I would say that cfm isn’t an issue. As far as smell, I put it in there with some stinky plants in mid flower, and to my surprise, I can leave this running between 60-75% and it totally eradicates any smell outside of my tent. I was initially hesitant to buy after seeing some of the negative reviews, but decided that it’s worth a $40 gamble. After having used this I tend to believe that some of their competitors may be had people spam bad reviews to drive sales their way. No, I can’t prove it, and yes I may be incorrect, but I am 100% happy with my purchase and am thinking about buying another for my other tent.

Effective Odor Control, but Arrived Damaged
I recently purchased the MELONFARM 4 Inch Air Carbon Filter for my grow tent, and while it works well for controlling odors, I was disappointed with how it arrived. The product came dented, with one side completely flat, which raised concerns about its performance and durability right out of the box.When I did manage to install it, the filter effectively scrubbed the air, and I noticed a significant reduction in smells from my plants. The premium Australia virgin charcoal seems to do its job well, and I appreciate that it comes with a pair of hangers and a pre-filter, making the setup easier.However, the dented condition of the filter left me feeling frustrated and cautious about its longevity. I worry that the damage might affect its airflow efficiency over time.Overall, if the product had arrived in good condition, Iâd be much happier with it. Just be cautious when ordering, as quality control might be an issue.

Doesn’t filter smell at all
This is a “you get what you pay for” buy. There is a reason this one was significantly cheaper than most others. It doesn’t filter smells worth a damn. My whole house smells worse with this new one than the 18month old one I replaced. Spend the extra couple dollars. This thing is very poor.

Awesome! Better then expected..
EDIT: 5 Montha later still working flawlessly and still controlling very strong skinny odor. Due to mixed reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this. I got it today and I gotta say I’m impressed with it for the price .. it is true at 200 CFM and the controller works fine. No weird noises from the unit , the filter does give off some carbon charcoal but just let the fan run for a minute and blow it out and it’s fine. Love that this takes up a small amount of space.
