Perfect fit for what I needed.
I needed a lightweight alternate to a laptop, and this fits the purpose very well. I am using for a couple of very different mobile purposes. 1. Needed for recording voiceover work and the Surface Pro 7 is a quiet fanless device, so it doesn’t add ambient noise to recordings.2. The other use is as an astrophotography platform to control a mirrorless camera remotely.3. Lastly, I will use to download images from my camera in the field for various events and client jobs.It is extremely lightweight and perfectly fits into my mobile workflows.

Great Surface Pro
So I got my shipment and I liked the original packaging. When I opened it I was to behold the most beautiful laptop I had ever seen. No exaggeration here. I opted for the matte black and such a good choice. The setup was flawlessly easy. I had to use my fingers on the touch screen because it did not come wit a key board on stylus. I don’t know if that’s a marketing thing or what. I know Microsoft sells them that way but jeeze, get a package deal going, at least a keyboard. But I digress. I did have the insight to purchase a USB hub and monitor connector for the Surface Pro 7. Here is what I got…**BYEASY Surface Pro 7 Docking Station, Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Accessories with 4K HDMI, 60W USB-C PD Charging, SD/TF Card Reader, 2 USB 3.0**Per Description:Standing screen display size 12.3 Inches AWESOMEScreen Resolution 2736 x 1824 AWESOMEMax Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 AWESOMEProcessor 8032 Really GoodRAM 8 GB DDR4 Just enough but more is always betterHard Drive flash_memory_solid_state – Wouldn’t need more than this especially if you have a Cloud serviceGraphics Coprocessor Gpu – NiceChipset Brand Intel – I only get IntelAverage Battery Life (in hours) 11 Hours – I’m usually plugged in but when on battery it hasn’t run lowOverall its a decent deal. This week I could of opt for a ne one for $50 more. But I try to support the resellers. This reseller should of added perks, I think, to show the value in Renewed items.I amCertified Microsoft ProfessionalA+ and MCDST Certified

HORRIBLE ALWAYS BREAKS DOWN > blue screen of death every few months hours on the phone
This has been a horrible device – constantly goes down & needs hours (microsoft is horrible forces you to try & self diagnose & attempt to clear errors (I have spent over 15 hours on the phone to no avail each time blue screen of dealth appears) The device constantly has “updates failed” due to the mircosoft 10/11 scenario. I WILL never buy a surface or from this company again $600 down the drain. I have not even had the laptop a year & had 4 MAJOR issues that forced me to not be able to run my business due to no working laptop

A Refurbished surface as good as new
This is the best-used surface pro 7 I have tried from amazon renewed. The device came in a sealed box from Microsoft certified refurbished,, and the device looks to be brand new never used and comes with a 65w charger this device is just a Microsoft refurbished unit. I recommend buying from amazon renewed because there is a 90-day warranty from amazon and the price is reasonable highly recommend it.

came on time, beautiful screen, good download speed
Took about 40 minutes to complete setup including loading all applications and getting them set up on the taskbar. Screen quality was excellent. had more background options than my old one.

Will it last?
4 months in and having weird camera problems. My last brand new surface lasted years. Iâm a graduate student and pretty easy on the device, using it for school & meetings, so I was surprised to be having problems with it already. The camera light stays on, but the camera wonât work until I restart it, then itâs good for a couple of days then does it again.

Bought renewed, so overall satisfied, very few cosmetic issues on the case.
From Surface Pro 3 to Pro 7, noticeable difference. Bought renewed and trust that it will provide years of service. One issue I did have is the way this product was advertised, the pictures showed accessories like keyboard, stylus, mouse. The writeup also stated accessories may not be Microsoft but compatible so my bad on being confused that you actually had to buy the accessories separately, which when I went back to the picture is stated in tiny print that they can be purchased separately, so my mistake. Most of the others listed only had one picture of the device, and nothing else. There were a few like units available for a different price but not alot of stock, and I received this one in less then 15 hours from ordering it.
