Working well as an OPNSense firewall
Two weeks in, this box is doing a great job running as an OPNSense firewall. The N100 version with 8GB/256GB, running the full set of AbuseCH, ET Pro Telemetry, and OPNSense IDS/IPS rules is idling at 25% RAM utilization and 1% disk utilization. CPU utilization has not risen above a few percent in normal usage, and rises to about 25% CPU and 60% RAM utilization with heavy traffic. Still plenty of headroom, and really not all of those IDS/IPS rules are necessary in a home network, if any.The WiFi interface is not used in this configuration, so I cannot speak to that, but it is recognized.The WAN / LAN assignments are made “backwards” from what I consider the standard of having the WAN on the left and the LAN on the right, but that’s a very minor thing and it can be changed easily enough if someone cares.By default the box will not boot without a monitor attached, so be aware of that if you plan on using it “headless”. There is a BIOS setting and/or a couple of workarounds available on the Interwebs.

Un producto muy bueno y de tamaño compacto.Buena mano factura.Windows 11 pro activado.Para trabajo de oficina o actividades escolares es ideal.Por su procesador y una mejorar en la ram puede manejar juegos como fornite o world of warcraft sin problemas.Hasta ahora con unos dÃas de usarla por varÃas horas el calentamiento no esta siendo un problema.

Déjà , l’ordinateur est livré avec de drôles de choix par défaut dans le BIOS comme limites de wattage (0) j’aurais du douter que quelque chose clochait.J’ai pris trop de temps avant de m’en rendre compte, mais la RAM est totalement instable sur ce modèle : téléchargements qui plantent, Windows qui refuse de faire des mises à jour majeures correctement, le pc ne passe pas un memtest. Cet achat est une catastrophe qui m’en vaut pas le prix.
