Excellent.
Excellent bass, mid and decent highs. Very nice construction. Comfortable from the get go, no need to “upgrade” to a new set of velour ear pads. One wish I have is the cable being changeable, so I can use shorter ones. Monoprice did it again…another high value item.

Good build but stupid long attached cable
The build is solid for the price, itâs lightweight and very comfortable. Sound quality is at its best with feeding it power though an amp. The low end gets more color and sound stage opens up. Overall good headphone for the price but the extra long permanently attached cable is junk. Probably the worst cable ever. Itâs janky and kills using these headphones. Returned.

Sound Okay.
Best way I can describe these headphones is just solidly âmehâ. Not bad, not goodâ¦.âmehâ. Decently comfortable and well built, but an older pair of Monoprice cans I bought several years ago blow these out of the water in terms of clarity and definition.

I prefer these to my Beyerdynamic DT770
Having owned these headphones a few years and bought a second set over a year ago to gift, I’m fairly comfortable stating that I prefer these over my genuine Beyers made in Germany. These are not based on the DT770 I own, so I can’t state how closely they nail the target, but I get more clarity and upper mid content from these, which are drowned out by the bass on the DT770. With good source and amplification, these scale nicely until a certain point. My best amp and Sennheiser HD6xx make these sound bad in comparison, but through a good economical amp and streaming HD, they’re going to sound more similar in quality but different in flavor. They can feel a bit clampy after a movie, but that’s true of many expensive cans as well. Be forewarned the cable is long and bundling it up will hinder portability. I clipped the cable on mine and soldered on a slim 3.5mm male TRS plug to remedy this. For the price, these are definitely recommendable to everyone except obsessive hi fi fanatics. If you’ve still got a headphone jack on your device and stream movies or music, let these run under a pillow at half volume a night or two to soften up the cones, then enjoy.

Very good for my purpose
I like watching TV with headphones so I don’t disturb my wife. I consider myself an audiophile, owning HiFiMan 560 V1, Koss Electrostatic ESP950, Sennheiser HD660s just to name a few. I wanted a pair of cans that were light weight and easy to drive through one of my bluetooth headphone amps to watch TV with. These certainly fit the bill. Lightweight, comfortable ear cups and easy to drive. I tried listening to music through my main amp, HiFiMan EF400. These headphones just don’t cut it, but I wasn’t expecting them to.So, if you are going to actually listen to music, do your self a favor and spend about $35 more and buy the Sennheiser HD 559 or a pair of Audio-Technica for about $75.

good product
Three times better than the low price would suggest.

Meh for the price and the highs are quite harsh
Harsh highs, it does seem to have the same sound profile as a microsoft lifechat lx 6000.

These below $100 headphones are really quite good. Theyâre almost like my wifeâs $500 Sennheisers.
