Renewed? Seems like unsold product from AT&T.
Although the packaging was minimal and not OEM store type, it did have a pad for charging wirelessly that came with it. The pad and phone are great. Once I was able to move my account and info from my Razr 2020, all was good. The 2020’s outer screen failed last year. Cost more to fix than it was worth, instead I bought this. I like the new backing on the phone, less likely to fall on the floor like the old one. But I will say the 2020 bounced off a hard floor at least 20 times and not a mark on it.Summing up, it was cheaper to buy this new renewed phone than fix the old one. It does have AT&T software on it, but I was able to uninstall some of the bloat, and disable the rest. I am happy with the purchase.

Large screen will not stay on or fails to light when opened
Intermitent screen. I’ve had this phone for 3 months and use it with care. It is cosmeticaly in prestine shap. When I unfold the phone, the screen may or may not turn on. At times I have to open the phone several times befor I can see a screen. This happens when I answer a call. This makes the phone vertually un usable/unreliable.I’ve seen many youtube videos with sudo fixes that are temparary. Seems like something internal is loose IE a intermitent connection. Very frustrating.

This thing rocks. Best phone I’ve bought in a very long time. And it’s durable AF. Dropped it a dozen times and it’s yet to show any damage. Also love the second screen. I find myself using it more than the large screen!

Better than Samsung Flip
My wife and I each got a Samsung flip on release day and I bought a refurbished Moto razr 2023 just for grins. While the hardware on both of these is very good the software on the razor makes it exceptional. Samsung ships with about five apps that run on the cover screen and you have to go through a bunch of additions and hacks to get other things on the screen. The motor razor will let you try anything. If you have an app opened on one screen and go to the other it will follow you if you have allowed it to.

I like the Moto Razr+. I bought it refurbished to replace a Samsung Z-Flip 3 that I bought refurbished from Amazon a couple of years ago, so I understand and trust the refurbished program. The problems I am having are fairly deep in the phone’s operating system and the people who did the refurb probably couldn’t detect them with the tests they run. I understand that Motorola is having issues with a lot of this model, which is why the price is so good on them.It will randomly lock up and not allow me to use the back button while using different features. I have to close all aps and it goes back to working properly.It will suddenly refuse to play sound on Youtube videos, FB Reels, and other social media platforms. This might last a day and it might last 10 minutes and then it starts working again.I miss a lot of calls where the phone never rings. I just look down and it shows I have 2 missed calls. Meanwhile, I have been sitting in my recliner the entire time. I’m retired, so this isn’t critical, but if I was using it for business it would be a deal breaker.There are a couple of other problems that seem to pop up from time to time that make me worry about the long term reliability of the phone.The camera is a bit quirky but takes excellent photos.The large exterior screen seems like a bonus but I find that I never use it. It randomly lights up, making me think I have a text message or incoming call but I think it’s responding to exterior noises like the TV sounds.I have used several Motorola phones over the years with the Star-Tac being one of my favorites back in the days of dinosaurs, but this experience may send me back to Samsung Flips.

So far I just got my phone today but I am thrilled that it is an excellent condition! No scratches or anything wrong with the screen! I will post another review or edit to my review in a few weeks. Phone just stopped working and no help from Motorola or Amazon

El equipo llego en excelentes condiciones y con los accesorios mencionados. El equipo es del operador AT&T, si esta desbloqueado para usar otro SIM, pero el detalle esta que no se puede actualizar ya que AT&T no libera las OTAS si no estas dentro de su red y con un chip de ellos. La única solución que encontré por el momento es usar la herramienta de Motorola para restablecer el equipo el inconveniente es que durante este proceso se borra toda la información. La otra solución que querÃa probar era cambiando la ROM a la internacional, pero o sorpresa no se puede, aun que puedas obtener el código para solicitar el desbloqueo del bootloader, ya que al parecer aun que el equipo ya no este en un plan con AT&T USA aun les pertenece el equipo y no es posible solicitar el desbloqueo por polÃticas entre Motorola y AT&T. Asà que tendré que seguir investigando o cada que allá una actualización impropiamente restaurar el equipo o esperar a que Motorola agregue la función de update a su herramienta de recuperación.De hay en fuera el equipo funciona muy bien hasta el momento no e tenido problema con la pantalla interna o la bisagra.
