Hyper one is great phone for the price.
I’ve only spent 2 days with this phone so far. Right now, I think this was a great choice. I needed a phone as my aging Moto G5 plus was losing battery life and couldn’t keep a charge for 8 hours with some usage. (3yrs of heavy usage and no major issues was a pretty good run.) I did almost 2 months of deliberating and comparing different phones. I almost went with a Nokia 7.1 but this one was more recent and had the best features for the price. I had an Htc One M8 before my G5 plus, so I craved NFC again. Sound with Dolby is great. Fingerprint reader is pretty quick but was hit or miss on my positioning of the finger, I just deleted and readjusted my finger(s) to awkward positions and fixed the problem. Screen is great. Most videos though, are not formatted to fill out the whole screen, but browsing pages is nice to fill the whole page. Good 128 gb space plus a micro sd tray (if you don’t use dual sims). inclusion of 3.5 mm plug fr headphones is a big plus since I still own nice headphones that plug in. Cameras are pretty good too. Selfie cam will not be used much by me, but responds quick if I want to take one. TMobile updated it’s firmware so now I get WiFi calling that some people where complaining it didn’t do. And yes. I got the 45 watt hyper charger. (awesome)
Overall, I think I’ll be enjoying it for a few years

Good phone, good value, good camera
Was thinking of upgrading to Motorola One Hyper 128GB + 4GB RAM, XT202-1, 6.5â FHD+, 64 MP Photos, LTE Factory Unlocked Smartphone from my Motorola G7 so I ordered it. As it turned out it wasn’t that much different from my G7. Camera was only marginally better, nothing else seemed much different. I don’t stream or record videos much, only use it for basics like Chrome and email, reading news and books, recording trail gpx with the MyTrails app, iNaturalist/Seek, sometimes Zoom.
Never use fingerprint reader.
The One Hyper GPS chip still didn’t receive Galileo satellites. Alexa still required fiddling before it came to life.
It’s a good phone but not enough better than my G7 to be worth keeping. I returned it.

Pretty good value phone
Moto One Hyper review after 1 full week:
My previous phone Samsung S8 Active, still working unable to get Android updates past 8 and security updates from June 2018 and other software issues related to updates. This is the last âFlagshipâ phone I ever buy.
I am on AT&T and it has worked perfectly for calls and texting, plug and play.
I figured a phone for $315 would suffice. Even if it lasts 10 months itâs a better value than the current âFlagshipâ offerings from Samsung and LG (AT&T only options). Itâs hard (for me) to see the differences between the actual phone and Android differences since coming from Android 8 to 10. So, some issues (minor)I have had are related to that rather than the phone.
The physical phone is great. Not too heavy, not too large and battery life (have not to get 2 full days out of charge yet) and recharge is great with 45W hyper charger. Iâll have to practice using the camera b/c the pics on old phone appear to be better, which does not make sense to me. The screen is good, lacks some fullness of colors but certainly adequate.
The phone came with clear rubber case that I replaced with an Osophter brand that is really nice. One thing to note is there is not a lot of selection of accessories for this phone. I also installed a generic screen protector. I highly recommend getting a case and screen protector since the phone case is plastic and the screen is only Gorilla 3.
To sum it up, a good phone worth the money. If you are not a superphone user and stressing it out it will most likely be just fine for your needs
******************* 1 month update
So far so good. Being stuck at home I have not really used it much while not using WIFI but all is good so far.
One disappointment, I thought I researched this before I purchased, but it does not support WIFI calling or VoLTE. Kind of a big deal for me since my office (have not been there since I bought) has very bad cell reception…ugh. Camera still kinda wonky for me but still working on it.

Great phone for a light user
I don’t use a ton of apps or social media. My phone is primarily for communication, GPS navigation, music, and taking photos. The Motorola Hyper One does these things splendidly.
PROS:
-No weird selfie camera cutout or huge bezel (instead, it physically pops up when you go into selfie mode)
-Fast
-Pretty screen
-Good battery life (lasts me 2-3 days without charge; again, I am a light user)
-Charges very quickly
-Good camera quality with some interesting apps like panorama, portrait mode, and animated photos
-Motorola actions, like shake to turn on flashlight
CONS
-Can probably accomplish these basics with a cheaper model from Motorola
It’s been a few months and I don’t have any complaints! I hope this phone lasts me a long time. My previous phone was an LG Stylo G, and I used that for 4 years.

As a collector of Mobile Phones over the years with a display case containing some real classics the Hyper after one day of use has survived my extreme as usual scrutiny! Purchased for
$ 363.00 and it came packaged with the 45w, Hyper charger. What a bonus. After a full day of use which is of course with a new phone is a lot, I was down to only 48 percent battery by dinner.
Timed it…….took just 39.28 min to 100 percent charge again.
Have an iPhone 8 Plus and am eligible for upgrade but refuse to until Apple decides to rid there so called edge to edge display of its dreaded notch! Same with all the other premium brands whose screens also have a circle or teardrop. First thing I did was run 8k YouTube vids on the Hyper full screen and was truly blown away. The IPS screen looks almost as good as an Oled and the detail is amazing all in a âRealâ edge to edge screen! Also ran smoothly at 1080p, no annoying stutters.
My last Android was a Galaxy Note 4 and I am really impressed with the Android 10 running on the Hyper. Very smooth and intuitive and set up was seamless. Much better than older android versions and much less buggy.
Have taken but a few photos but being a good âreal photographerâ I see some amazingly creative possibilities and very interesting software. The pop up camera is very slick and one could actually vlog with most excellent results. So all the important stuff gets a huge thumbs up. General phone, text and email operations are also very quick and easy.
If you have looked at all the reviews and are still interested just get it, money very well spent and a solid product, well done Motorola!

This Moto cell phone is a great purchase and value for the price. Battery life is good will last the day and with the 45 watt charger it makes charging fast. The camera is good but sometimes slow to take the picture, the quality of the pics is good. Comes with FM radio built in the phone, great idea. I added a good quality phone protector because the back of the cell is made of plastic witch may scratch easy. After 3 weeks of usage I find the screen hard to see outside even when display is at maximum. Screen swipe is horrendous to use, no indication where to swipe, 75% of the time the swipe up or from side to side it does a nother function than I wanted to do, it’s a annoying problem!
