Decent Product Improvements Could Be Made
Screws on keyboard mouse tray scratched my $100 dollar keyboard, this would be simple to fix: just use a thicker piece of steel or aluminum at the location where these screws go and use a flat head screw with a countersunk screw in location so that screws are flush with the keyboard tray. Also, I feel like it would be better if the gas spring arms on top weren’t required to be at the same height because I bought a laptop tray for one of these top monitor mount locations and it would be nice to have it at a different height to the monitor I am mounting next to it. Furthermore, the gas spring arms could be significantly longer and of better design, I do not feel like the price warrants size and length of the springs used, however I cannot fault the seller for this because specifications are given. All of the above are really opinions I have for Mount-it to develop a new product which would more useful. Setup was easy, instructions were clear. one really nice and unexpected feature of this mount is the different options for cable management, it has a ton! Definitely would recommend getting this product.

This is great! I assembled it easily by myself and attached it to my husbands small writing desk. We don’t have much space for a home office and now that he’s working from home with two large monitors and a laptop this was an absolute must to clear up surface space. It is very sturdy, no wobbles despite the little desk, is easy to move from sit to stand position and the screens don’t jut out to the front of the desk when moved down for sitting, so long as you’ve attached everything at the optimal height for your space. You tighten things up with the included allen wrenches (which sit in a convenient holder that is attached to the main rod so you don’t lose them) so that it remembers your “settings” for your screens to move them up and down without losing your sweet spot. My husband primarily uses it in stand position now that he’s got a balance board and the keyboard tray hasn’t sunk even a little (which is saying something, he is an aggresive typer ð) . Overall, if you’re looking to raise your monitors up and save your posture i would absolutely recommend this setup.

What I needed – but some issues
To raise and lower the monitors, you need to make sure you don’t lose the wrench. I wish there was a way that they would be connected to the backs. It does however have great range, height, and versatility which is what I was looking for. I do wish the keyboard had a little more stability, or a way to have it not be hanging above the desk.

Unsatisfactory design
There are several key design issues that I found with this item. First, the keyboard tray is very poorly designed; its integration with the central pole is problematic since it tends to wobble when you type, and the wobble is transmitted to the monitors. Second, the keyboard tray design is unsatisfactory, since you find yourself confronting the heads of four screws that stick up from the surface on which you set the keyboard. Addressing this design error necessitated cutting a mouse pad in half to prevent the screws from becoming a fulcrum for the keyboard.Because of these design deficiencies, I am returning the product.

Great buy overall
Great product and frees up more space versus the traditional sit to stand desk top risers. The keyboard tray is my only issue really where it does wobble and is not fully sturdy. But overall a great buy and would recommend it still.
