Perfect board for my needs.
I was looking for a motherboard that matched up well with my newly purchased AMD RYZEN 7 9800X3D. I searched through a few different ones and came down to a couple. I chose the MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk as I felt like it met all my needs. The design is nice, the power is nice, the features where what I needed and it generally just looks great as well.First off, the price is nice for all it offers.I am happy it had the with the feel and durability of the board. The chipset is great. I love all the extra NMVE m.2 SSD slots, that was extremely important to me, along with two having PCIe 5.0 speeds and 2 having PCIe 4.0 speed lanes. The easy locking mechanisms for the m.2s is great too and two screw less cover locks and all having nice thermal pads are very good. The 16x PCIe GPU lane slot with with easy locking/unlocking button is very nice as well. GPUs are heavy these days, though I don’t have one in my install picture yet, that beast is coming soon! The back IO is very nice and smooth looking and more than enough front panel connectors along with a ton of fan connectors. The error LED screen is great, I feel like ALL boards should have this feature. the WiFi has been more than stable for me and quick as well. Last but not least the BIOS layoff is sleek and very user friendly. I would recommend this for anyone looking to upgrade.

Este nivel de calidad me hace sentir que mi inversión está bien protegida.Uno de los aspectos que superó mis expectativas fue su impresionante capacidad de almacenamiento. Con 4 entradas para SSD M.2 (1 PCIe Gen 5 y 2 PCIe Gen 4 con protección metálica y almohadillas para disipar el calor, además de 1 PCIe Gen 4 adicional), me da una gran flexibilidad para expandir mis opciones de almacenamiento sin preocuparme por problemas de sobrecalentamiento. También ofrece la capacidad tener hasta 5 conexiones para ventiladores, lo que asegura un enfriamiento adecuado, especialmente durante sesiones largas de gaming.La uso principalmente para jugar videojuegos, y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Todo corre de manera fluida, y sé que tengo una plataforma que podrá adaptarse a mis necesidades en el futuro sin problemas. Llego antes de lo planeado y en excelentes condiciones. Hizo buen combo con mi 7950X3d y mi 4080 SUPER de MSI.
