Amazing!
The colors are super fun for the kiddos. It is light as can be and won’t strain their wrists. The battery life is beyond amazing. I’ve left mine out into he cold for a week and it still has battery. This is so easy to use and navigate the store for new books. The speed is a bit slow when shopping, but it isn’t so bad I can’t handle it or that it loses my kids attention. I have thrown and tossed this thing around and it doesn’t have so much as a scratch on it. If you’re thinking about buying it, it is worth it and do it. The build of it is perfect for children and indestructible.

Super disappointing
We ordered this item for our daughterâs birthday. It came in and didnât work. It wouldnât connect to the kids kindle section. I called Amazon and they did the troubleshoot with me and declared it didnât work. Sent it back. Same thing with the replacement. Amazon sent a THIRD one and same issue. Amazon customer service was excellent- the product, not so much. There must be a bad batch of these. We went for the adult kindle for our daughter instead since I refused to try a 4th time. It works flawlessly and connected to the parent dashboard with parent controls perfectly. Should have started there.

This is my first time buying a Kindle. I use it for myself and my kid. The lighting is great, it has a fast page turn, and the added case is nice. Super easy to change font size and lighting from dark mode to normal mode and the intensity of the light.
