Very versatile kit
I was able to isolate and detect my coolant leak in less than 30 minutes. Better to pressurize a cold engine than mess around with scalding coolant. After correcting the problem, the successful pressure test provides peace of mind. The Adapter availability included is impressive. All items seem to be of quality. I used this on my Audi S4 B8.5

This is an extremely comprehensive and high quality kit to pressure test and vacuum fill a wide range of cooling systems. The amount of adapters you get is really quite impressive and everything looks really well made.On the negative endâ¦the instructions are lacking and fitment list is stuck in the 90s. But it will work with modern vehicles just as well. Itâll take a bit of guesswork to find the right adapter but thatâs all. Overall this is a great kit to have on hand for the DIYâer. It arrived fast and works great for my Jeep!

Not good quality
The first one was leaking and wouldn’t hold a vacuum. They sent me a replacement but doesn’t pull a good vacuum. The adapters and application manual seem to be very outdated and don’t fit most newer applications. Over all not worth the money. I will spend more and buy one that actually works off one of the tool trucks

Save your money. Weak vacuum purge tool, and the caps are incorrect for the listed applications.
I’d initially posted a big glowing review on this product, which I now regret. After testing out the vacuum purge tool for the first time, I realized that it worked rather poorly. It simply doesn’t produce a strong enough vacuum to fully evacuate the air from an empty cooling system. I know this for a fact because I also reviewed another similar kit from OMT with a slightly different vacuum purge tool that works great and produces a very strong vacuum! This one unfortunately is approximately half as powerful. I have a two-stage 60gal compressor, so I know air supply isn’t the issue. I ended up combining the two kits to make this one work.The other issue is that the bevy of included reservoir adapter caps are simply not compatible with all the vehicles that they claim to be. When I went to use this on my 2004 focus, I looked it up in the application guide and picked out the corresponding adapter, only to find that it was too large. I tried every other cap, and not one of them had the thread sizes for this relatively common application. Many of the listed applications are not US-market vehicles, so this may be a clue that this kit was not designed with the US market in mind. I don’t have many cars to test this on, so I’m not sure how great the coverage really is. In any case, I had to buy an adapter from Stant for another $20, which worked great. It seems a little silly though when you consider how many adapters are in this kit.For what it’s worth, the pressure tester tool does at least work. My only qualm with it is that there are too few gradations on the gauge, which makes it really hard to see the needle traveling downwards under a slow leak. This same issue is also seen on the vacuum filler’s gauge as well, but since that thing barely works anyway it’s a moot point.With all these issues it’s hard for me to recommend this particular set. OMT sells some good tools, but this one’s a miss in my opinion.

High quality kit, but may not have the right adapter for your car
I have several cars which have trouble getting all the air purged out of their coolant system. I obtained this kit in the hope it can help. I’ve added photos of the owners manual for this kit in the hope it can help others determine if it will work with their cars.The kit does include a lot of adapters for various car types. Unfortunately the one listed for my 95 Mazda won’t fit, which is likely a RX7 model issue only. However, the adapter for my 2016 VW fits perfectly and the proper fit is found in an adapter for my 1960’s era British roadster. Testing on 991/981/982 Porsches revealed there is no adapter for these cars unfortunately. If an adapter is present for your car, this kit also includes plenty of replacement o-rings to ensure you get a proper seal.This kit can be used for identifying coolant leak locations, checking coolant caps for leakage, for purging all coolant completely out, and refilling the coolant system.

Not too happy with my first used of the tool. Hand pump not holding pressure, keep bleeding off. Even when I manually plug off the hand pump it still bleeding off the pressure.
