This was bad news
I have a house full of computers, and this is the first one I have ever returned.When I finally sent it back, after a month of frustration, it appeared to have a bad battery or a bad battery connection. It would not power up or take a charge. Since couldnât power it up to scrub it, I still have a worry about this thing.When I first got it, it was terribly slow: it took several minutes to boot-up, and there were tens of seconds to respond to finger presses. At one point I reseated the empty sim/sd holder, and the RT3 sprang to life. That lasted a few days, then the performance turned to crap again.I spent many, many hours trying to get the RT3 to work, so I do not want to waste any more time now.BewareThere is some useful stuff there, like the âtoolkitâ with a compass, height measurement, etc. I wish the RT3 worked. Amazon told me there were no replacements available, which was probably a blessing.

One Issue – And it’s a Dealbreaker
Overall a good tablet, but I have found one thing that will likely cause me to return it.First the positive. For the pricepoint, it’s a great tablet. While it doesn’t have top of the line performance, features and hardware, it certainly is very strong in the mid-range. It is responsive and has handled all my tasks very well (though I can’t speak to gaming).Where this tablet gets a big “Fail” is when you decide to use a launcher other than the standard built in one called “Quickstep”. When using another launcher, the overview/recent apps navigation feature does not work correctly, regardless of whether you use gestures or the three buttons at the bottom of the screen. When using this feature you can clearly see all the open apps, but when you select one the tablet always goes back to the home screen. This then requires you to open the list of apps and select the one you wanted to go to. This is an extra step, takes time and the app may or may not open to where it was when you left it. I tried this feature using multiple launchers and every time the result was the same – I was taken to the home screen rather than the app that I selected.As someone who always has multiple apps open and frequently bounces back and forth between them, this bug is inconvenient and takes extra time and is a nuisance. Of course this isn’t a problem if you are happy using the stock launcher which is very basic and unknown, but I prefer to use Nova or Microsoft’s launcher on my Android devices. For this reason, the tablet won’t work for me.

great tablet so far but only the original usb cable that came with it will work in the power inlet. None of my cables will fit the hole as there to large around, cause i need a longer one to reach my usb port. looks very well built other than that.

Does the basic job but nasty bugs prevented more advanced use
Nice and durable tablet but some things just do not work.I bought this tablet for persons who needs me to remote connect to the tablet.The first problem came with Teamviewer Host. It installs without problems but universal add on does not work in this tablet and screen sharing is not possible.Then I tried AirDroid. It works but it is really slow and when trying to unlock the tablet remotely I get only black screen.Another bug to mention. Screen lock works without problems if there is only one user configured. The tablet locks forever if there are two users and one of the screen lock codes is longer than 4 digits.It took 4 installation/factory reset rounds before figuring out not to set longer than 4 digit lock codes.As a conclusion this tablet did not work for the purpose I bought it and I ended up to return it.

Decent value. Workmanship leaves room for improvement
I looked at several reviews before purchase and saw a lot of positive comments. The price point was right. I’ve been using it for several months now. The performance wasn’t “speedy” but it was useable. After a couple of months, the tablet seemed to take forever to startup. Like 5 full minutes. Then I noticed many of my apps with greyed out icons. It appeared they were not on the tablet. That made me question the memory expansion. I ejected the memory card and reseated it. All my icons came back and the speed returned to normal. The tablet worked ok for a few days and the slow boot returned.I have ejected and reseated the memory card a number of times now. The tablet will work fine for several days. And I have to reset the seating of the memory card. Not sure if I have an issue with just this memory card adaptor included with my tablet or if this is an issue with the whole line. But it is a big enough of an issue that I am looking for a different tablet. Not thrilled.

Unfortunately, could not get a SD card to work and I tried 3 different ones. Could have been something I was doing wrong but I will never know.Sent a mail to the provided email address, no acknowledgement, no sense that it had been received, prioritised, receiving attention or anyone had bothered to read it – in other words it went into a black hole.In the end I had to return it for a full refundOh one more thing, there is nowhere to attach an accessory such as a neck strap
