Perhaps I pick a model that is a bit overkill for my main purpose of a stream for local video and stream services including race cars racing streamers apps. This allow to have a box that is easy to upgrade while choosing exactly which programs to run for each of the streamer or content. The performance of this mini-PC is well above what is required here, but that ensure it run noise free for its purpose. Given my setup allow for VRR on 4K TV and DTS:X/Atmos sound this ensures everything play stutter free. In addition, the extra power and 2.5Gb connection allow me to buffer a lot more ahead for smooth play/pause.The box was ready to setup with as close to plug and play experience that can be. Power up, connect a screen, keyboard/mouse and boot up. Windows 11 Pro is ready to be configured. Although the timing of my setup matched the 24H2 updates, there was nearly no hiccup when it did the installs. I say because it wanted a patch before the caused a loop, but getting the latest AMD 6900HX drivers solved that and I was able to finish setup and load the latest update right after.What is nice with this box, is it could just as easily stream game from local Steam or remote service or be use as desktop application device. With the model with more ram is certainly is very capable and the small package makes it easy to setup anywhere.

NEW EDIT:After just a few days having this hooked up to the TV for my mom, when she tries to watch anything on her TV (roku, youtube etc) and passed by the HDMI input on the tv at all (which she has to in order to get to anything else) the mini PC turns itself on.the bigger problem is there is NO support from Bosgame after trying to contact them via multiple methods, the 24 hr support is a lie———————————-Ordered this when it was $589.99 CDN but with a $120 off couponIt’s the 16GB 512 GB SSD (I probably would have spent the extra $10 just for the one with the same specs and the NVME drive if i noticed it first). It’s just for my mom to use facebook, youtube and some light games, for that it’s overkill.Turned it on and immediately her TV recognized it, and I set it up for her, it’s only been a few days but she likes it and it’s running fine so far.silent to me, and stays coolIdle temps were under 50 Cthe only things neither of us like about it so far, seem to be effects of it being Windows 11, not of the device itselfI’ll try to remember to update this after it’s been a while longer
