Finally, something comparable to my Leophile Eel
This review is for PHILIPS Bluetooth Neckband Headphones. So, I’ve gone through 3 or 4 pair of bluetooth neckband earbuds trying to find something comparable to my old Leophile Eel, which still works perfectly fine. It’s just that the protective rubber cord around the wiring is splitting up where it meets each earbud. I’m afraid this will compromise the durability. Other than that my Eel has been fantastic. Sounds really good and I’ve never had technical issues with them. However, they are almost impossible to find now, as it seems that Leophile no longer exists or they are under a different name now. I wouldn’t be surprised if they went under from selling such great earbuds at too low of a price (usually around $40-$60).The earbuds I went through before the Philips were the ‘FIIL Digital Noise Cancelling Headphones’ and the ‘Picun Wireless Headphones 35 Hours Playtime Neckband Bluetooth Headphones LED Light’. The FIIL tore my ears up out of the box with extremely tinny highs that irritated my ears. After adjusting the EQ in Spotify and practically turning the high frequencies almost all the way down they were acceptable. They still didn’t sound nearly as smooth and good as my Leophile Eel though. They do look and feel nice. However, your ears immediately know the quality of sound by how irritating it does or doesn’t become to your ears after several minutes of listening. The Picun buds straight up just didn’t sound as good as my Eel no matter what I did with them.Philips… these are good. Very good. They sound every bit as good as my Eel, which really surprised me, and right out of the box. Nothing irritated my ears, the S’s sounded nice and smooth on a good quality sound file. That’s a good sign. Even the built in voice sounded nice and clear. Coast to Coast AM podcasts sounded great. I am real happy with the sound quality. Someone here complained about there not being enough bass. There is plenty of bass. If you really want to ruin your ears then maybe a few might ask for even more bass, but I did not require it. I do have the EQ adjusted for more bass though, and I set my iPhone to the ‘bass’ option, so yes I like bass and require a good amount. I listen to old school hip hop and rap, motown, disco, house, techno, trance, edm, etc., and I did not require more bass than what I’m getting here. It sounds great to me. Everything sounds smooth and doesn’t irritate my ears after a while of listening. That’s important to me and a good indicator of sound quality. They are light but not cheapy light. They look and feel good. It comes with a micro USB > 3.5mm cord so you can plug them into a jack to listen. That cord is long enough to reach your knees. I have not tested that cord out yet. They connected to my iPhone immediately with no issues. I haven’t used them long enough to know how well they stay connected but I don’t expect any issues. The cords from the buds are thicker than my Leophile Eel so I appreciate that added durability for the bud cords. Haven’t gotten to test how long they last.Very happy purchase so far. Overall these are probably the best neckband buds on here under $100 as long as they continue to work as advertised.

Great BT Headset for Professional/Field Workers
First, my review is concerned with the ability of this headset to facilitate clear, effective communications for (long running) business calls. I am not comparing this headset to the best wired audiophile headphones ever created – there would be no comparison, of course. That said, they are surprisingly decent at reproducing music for what they are. But back to the point of my review – these are *excellent* for my usage case of comfort, battery life, and call quality (microphone in particular) on long conference calls, and quite frankly they are worth every penny. I have tried cheaper options and in some cases put them back in the box for a return after one test phone call – often because my test subject said my voice sounded like it was being recorded using a mic made out of tinfoil and scotch tape. The battery life is extremely good, and I’ve used them during back to back meetings spanning 6-8 hours before having to switch to my back-up HS, which is an older model LG headset (also excellent). Thank you LG, and please keep making professional-grade products even if they are higher cost than the majority of other “toys” on the market.

    They work
I’ve blown through a lot of earbuds, I tend to abuse them. Got two of these ones lasted a year before the first one died which is quite a bit better than average for me. I wear them in the shower, a little past what ipx5 intends. The little flap doesn’t keep the charge port dry but if you wait a few hours to charge them it seems to be ok. Sound quality is decent, not great. Microphone gets wrecked when wet. The 14 hour playback is pushing it a little, I get a low battery warning after about 11 hours, the low battery warning is extremely annoying instead of a quiet beep or something it mutes your audio and shouts “LOW BATTERY” at you. I’m trying a different pair for my replacements but if I don’t like them I would consider buying more of these.

    They sound good enough
Sound is decent but the battery life sucks. Only about 61/2 hours. Also has a stupid old school micro usb and not usbc. Can only connect to 1 device at a time. Pretty lame for the price and technological capabilities of today

    Worst headphones imaginable.
These headphones are unthinkably awful. Terrible battery life, very uncomfortable, terrible audio quality. The headphones even are smelly. The list goes on. The real kicker was not seeing in the photo the charging port led me to assume that in 2024 it was going to be a USB C port, but no it’s the old port… Honestly use your money to burn for warmth in a garbage fire before you use it to buy these headphones.

    A great hands-free product!
I’ve been using these headphones for a while and am very pleased with them! They fit comfortably around my neck, I can wear them in one ear or both, and the battery life lasts through my workday. The sound quality is good, and the noise cancellation is a must. I would definitely buy this product again.

    Battery life very poor
When they work, they work great. I’ve been consistently buying this brand and style of neckband headphones for years. The audio quality is fantastic, I love the magnetic feature, and these stay in place and don’t shift around or get tangled in my long hair. The problem I have with this model specifically, is they don’t hold a charge at all. I purchased 2 of these earlier this year, just a few months ago. The first set lasted a long time and I could use them almost all day after charging. After only a couple of months of use, they now don’t hold any charge at all. Literally I will charge them, and they come off the charger with 15% battery. The second set of ear buds holds a charge only for a couple of hours before dying.I’m so disappointed in this. I prefer neckband headphones, but this model is awful for battery life.

These Philips Bluetooth Neckband Headphones are absolutely revolutionary, and I just got my hands on them! The reason I adore them so much is this:The first thing I want to say is how great the vibration call alert is. Stay connected even when you’re fully engrossed in your music or workout. Without being overbearing, the soft hum will draw your attention. The feeling is similar to that of a discreet touch on the shoulder from a personal assistant.Quality of Sound: The sound is of the highest quality. The strong bass produced by these headphones with a neckband really brings the music you love to life. The sound is clear and complete, whether I’m listening to modern pop or old school rock. Impressive call clarity eliminates those pesky “Can you hear me now?” situations. You can understand each other just as well as if you were in the same room.Comfort is paramount, and these headphones more than deliver with their feather-light weight and stylish appearance. You won’t have to worry about any pressure on your neck or ears from wearing these headphones for hours on end. In addition, they are fashionable and can be worn with any ensemble to exude tech-chic vibes.

Sound quality is really good. I also used a Sony High Resolution wired headphone with mic. To be very honest the quality of the mic of this product is far better than Sony. Sound quality is also better in some area. Very soothing but very powerful. You can clearly feel every punch and details of every beats. Noice cancellation is automatically works when the music is start and obviously because of it’s design. Built quality is also appreciated. The very light weight earbuds are perfectly fits with my ear. And as I wear it for upto 8hrs in my office time and a bud is all time tucked in my ear, but it doesn’t create any discomfort lavel at all. It take 2hrs to full charge, and the battery back up is also very good and matched with the company promises. Packaging quality is superb. It is IPX4 spalsh proof. Just one thing in my opinion, which will made this product much more acceptable is, if it will support the type C cable or charger as now a days many mobiles are supporting the type C cable or charger. Over all in this price range, this product is really a good pick for me.

I bought this product to replace a similar JBL set that I use when running. Sound quality is good and ear buds are a good fit but I find that the neck band is too loose and so tends to twist/move when I run. It’s not a terrible problem but it is annoying. If you are using these for day-to-day life then this won’t be a problem but I wouldn’t recommend these for running.

Bought it and returned it. Product listing stated 14 hours of pkay time which conflicted with the data in product manual. It was 7 hours talk time or 7 hours play time. For that price and 7 hours play time there are other options.Sound quality is goid but there is no aptx or aac support. Call quality was ok.Not a great option for the price.
