Good Sound, Good Functionality, Good Value, Just Works
Bought these phones primarily to serve as a gaming headset, with a special interest in the active noise canceling since I live in an apartment complex that can get noisy. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The headset is comfortable to wear, and the connectivity has proven to be reliable and seamless; just plug the dongle into an open port and you’re connected with no fuss. The sound quality is solid with little to no perceivable lag. And the active noise canceling has been everything I hoped for, blocking out all outside noise with almost uncanny efficiency. 5/5 would buy again

Good Calling Headphones
Whatâs In The Box:The unboxing experience is decent, with the pull-open drawer revealing the headphones inside. Included are the headphones themselves, a USB-A dongle for 2.4ghz wireless connection, a detachable 2.5mm microphone, a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable for a wired connection, and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable.Notably, there is no carrying case, and charging requires a USB-A to USB-C cable. I could not charge the headphones using my USB-C to USB-C cable from my MacBook.Build Quality:The Picun UW-05AH headphones feel as much as you would expect from this price range – extremely plasticky. The overall construction is soft-touch plastic on the exterior, with faux leather for the headband and cushions. The ear cups are spacious enough for most people, but for people with larger ears that protrude out like me, these ear cups are still shallower than the AirPods Max or the Bose QuietComfort 35s.The headband is a bit stiff and uncomfortable, while the ear pads themselves are soft enough. Unfortunately, they do not appear to be replaceable, but at this price point, that is hardly expected. The headphones are foldable and click into place. The extending arms also extend by marked increments on the metal band.The buttons all have a shallow but solid click when pressed. The removable dedicated mic is bendable and also soft-touch plastic. The microphone mute button on the dedicated mic is also clicky.Sound Quality:Having tested these in Bluetooth and USB-dongle mode, Iâm glad the sound quality remains excellent. The bass is punchy, the mids are clear, and the highs are decent. Overall, itâs an excellent sound quality, but unfortunately, there is no built-in equalizer, so if you cannot adjust the default sound signature. Nonetheless, the sound is pleasing and works well across many genres.ANC/Transparency Mode:To start, the audio and sound quality remains the same regardless of which âmodeâ is selected, whether that be ANC ON, OFF, or TRANSPARENCY.Transparency mode is decent, perhaps on par with the Bose QuietComfort 45s, but nowhere near the level of the AirPod Max. Unfortunately, the ANC feature is the weakest part of these headphones. The ANC works, but the reduction is so minimal that these headphones are best confined to indoor use. Comparison was made between these, the Wyze Headphones and the AirPod Max.Microphone Quality:I tried both the built-in microphone and the external detachable microphone in Bluetooth and USB Dongle modes. Fortunately, both microphones work decently well. Nonetheless, as you might expect, the microphone quality is better with the dedicated external microphone.Conclusion:I would still recommend these headphones for indoor use, specifically calling and light music enjoyment.

I mean I payed $40 for them. And they are mega comfortable, the only noise canceling is if youâre willing to crank the volume till you canât hear anything around you. But Iâll say this… these things are bad ass with the bass! Granted you walk more than 10 feet from your iPhone and it starts to cut out. Iâve made it 22 feet (I literally measured) with it cutting In and out on music BUT it automatically paired to my phone and the battery life is super decent. Look, these are great! thats the bottom line! Iâm a bass fiend and they did the trick. They arenât great on walking far from my phone, but the sound quality beats other cheap versions BY FAR! Iâm not at all unhappy! The charging has caused me a few issues but again, I payed $40 for them. We are going on month I think three and still going strong! Bonus, they are SO COMFY! My husband bought me a pair for Christmas made by Sony. Though the battery life is longer and I can clean my house without my phone literally tucked in my pants like I have to with these, they HURT MY EARS bc they literally think a grown up needs tiny ears to work, and Sony is cheap plastic with no padding on the head band. This brand takes the cake for comfort, bass, and sound quality. They suck with battery life, and YPU canât walk away from your device more than a few feet without issues. Over all, great buy!
