Clunky UI, but works well as a basic phone
Run on 4G LTE, works well a a basic phone. Has a somewhat clunky UI, but for the user that is OK.

You do get a VoLTE phone
FINAL UPDATE: I didn’t use this much, and fully regret ever buying it. Years later, while cleaning out a desk, I see this piece of utter trash and I remain shocked that any company trying to have a continuing brand name ever would have printed their name on this garbage. It’s on the level of a generic disposable kids toy.[older…]It does pass T-Mobile’s IMEI check. The whole thing has a feel of low quality. The first thing I noticed was the swirlish molding artifacts in the plastic around the keys. Not a functional problem, but it looks cheap. The black color does make it less obvious. The buttons are acceptable, but no more than that. The battery cover has the protective camera window attached to it. Remove the battery cover, and you are looking directly at the pinhole camera component attached to the board. Most phones have a more sealed design around the camera. If dust gets under this battery cover, there’s nothing else protecting the lens. The camera quality is terrible, given the price. It’s identical in quality to phones from 15 years ago which sold for literally 1/4 as much. It’s not just that it’s a VGA sensor. The pictures are not like if you shrink or crop a picture from a good phone down to 640×480. It looks more like a cheap spy camera. They don’t even look good on the phone, and if you send them to a friend with an iPhone or Android, they will look horrible. Also very bad is the location of the camera. It’s on the bottom half of the phone, right behind the right edge of the d-pad, so your index finger tends to be in front of it when clicking the shutter with your thumb. It’s just very poorly thought out.AND another thing… because the camera is on the bottom half of the phone, that means it’s not aligned with the display. If you hold the phone with the display pointed straight at your face like you would with any other phone, the camera is pointed 20 degrees towards the floor. If you want to take a level picture and see the display, you have to hold the phone slightly higher than your eyes and look up.Sorry for spending so much text on the camera, but it’s just so bad for a phone in this range.I like having the FM radio, and the antenna is built in so you don’t need headphones. The display often (but, strangely, not always) makes a repetitive clicking noise when the radio is playing. It stops when the display goes off.It does have a few good points. You can disable the power on/off sound, which even expensive phones usually don’t let you change. You can change the shortcut settings the D-pad accesses on the home screen (but they aren’t labeled). The display is about average quality for the price, the one hardware component that isn’t sub-par.Overwhelmingly, this phone seems like a VERY low-end product. You would never guess how much it costs and you won’t feel like you got a fair deal. The world is severely lacking in 4G flip or bar phones right now, and I don’t have any solid recommended alternatives.UPDATE: One more thing about that camera. The sensor is oriented for vertical pictures, but there are horizontal (AKA landscape) settings. If you select a landscape option, the junky phone actually crops out the top and bottom quarters of the sensor. The pictures aren’t even VGA, they are the 480×360 center pixels of the sensor stretched to VGA size. You can set the resolution to a vertical orientation and use the full VGA sensor, but if you tilt the phone to get a real VGA horizontal picture, the phone does not understand you are doing that so you get sideways pictures.Update 2: The battery seems to drain faster than expected even with the phone powered off. This thing is truly awful.

    Won’t hold a charge
I bought this in July. Already having problems with the battery not holding/taking a charge. T-Mobile checked it with a new cord, not that. It was a gift for an older relative so now I have to find something else.

    Very poor sound quality
I did not expect much from this post market phone due to many shortcuts. However, the two most important things hit even the lower mark: the ring volume is very low, even at the maximum setting, which is not helpful for an elderly person with hearing loss. The microphone is so poor it generates a “floating” sound that reminds of vocoder synthesizer.

    Rickety, poor sound, terrible features.
Despite what Straight Talk or others’ tech support say, if you have an active SIM card, this will work. It only dropped one call in the short time I used it. That’s the good news. The bad news is:This phone sounds terrible for a 1999 unit, never mind an LTE phone. It’s poorly built, the hinge feels like it’ll break in short order. The home menu is neither reconfigurable nor intuitive. There’s no removing the Facebook or browser icons I would’ve never used.It will not recognize an SD (TF) card from another phone (although the files are still there). It will not successfully import contacts and conversations from your old phone/SIM.Mine Capitalizes Every Single Word In A Text Message.Texting is a time-consuming, nightmarish experience I’ve never had with any other phone since the dawn of SMS. I cannot even contemplate the agony of Farcebook posting via this wreck. The battery life is wildly overstated in both use and standby.Picture quality is somehow worse than my 2008-era LG slider’s was.Provided ringtones are irritating. Attempting to change them to custom ones is simply more irritation. The shape of the phone does not lend itself to insertion or extraction from pockets. If you have a 3.5mm headset you used with your own phone, it won’t work with this one (neither of mine did). This is truly a “cell phone of last resort” that I cannot recommend for any reason other than its ability to answer a call. It’s frustrating and it’s fragile. I can’t suggest a better option (yet), but would definitely advise avoiding this flimsy mess. Ultimately I ended up with a Nokia 225.

    SET UP, WAS NOT EASY
Hi SellerThe process, for this phone, was not easy (not taking old sim card, and putting it, into plum phone. Even my provider(did not, know what to do). But thank GOD, I am technology savy. I figured it out( and I needed, the provider info (that I had, to find out on, my own) but the phone, works GREAT. THANK YOU

    Very Cheap
Texting Interface is different than most flip phones, Feels cheaply made very plastic. The battery life is unpredictable, sometimes it will last for days, other times it will last 3 hours. Would recommend spending money elsewhere.Update: 3 months into using the phone and No longer Charges while the phone is on. It must be turned off or it will just not charge. Also will not recieve certain calls. Not sure why?
