Quality power pack
I purchased this for when Iâm at car/bike shows as itâs small enough to throw in a book bag and it was priced right. When I received it I put it on charge and thought I had a dud. It legit took forever for it to charge completely but it did. When I used it, I was highly impressed with the charge rate. It very quickly charged my phone with a deep charge like it was plugged directly in overnight. Not thinking I never charged it back up and at the next show used it again with same results. Decided to see how long the trend would continue. Each time (5x before I had to recharge it) it dependably and quickly charged my phone from between 5-10% to 100% within about 35-45 minutes. Donât forget to grab a charging cable for your phone as this only comes with the charger for the unit only. I do recommend this little gem.

My cell phone batteries do not last an entire day on the run,so this has been a lifesaver. It takes hours to fully charge, but,just plug it in and go to bed. If you get up to pee, just look at thelittle blue lights: they tell you how much charge has been accumulated.

Nice Product but No Manual/Instructions
Product: Power Bank HX160Y8, Black/RedOverall, I like the power bank. It works well and seems to be of decent construction. My only complaint is there is no usable instructions or manual. The included manual is difficult to understand and doesn’t provide much information. Below I’ve explained my understanding of the product:1) The power button is located on the left side when you’re facing the side with the charging ports and the LED lights point face up. To power the unit on, press the power button once. The LED lights will illuminate showing the current charge. To power the unit off, press the power button twice. The LED lights will darken. There seems to be a short lag between pressing the power button and the device responding. Please be patient!2) There are three charging ports: two USB A output ports (to charge your devices) and one USB C input port (to charge the power bank). The output ports are marked with their voltage and amperage on the end panel of the case below each port. (The Amazon website pictures and descriptions show one output at 5V/1A and 5V/2.1A. However, the unit I received shows both ports at 5V/2.1A. I don’t know which is correct.)3) The LED panel has four lights that indicate the unit’s charge level. During usage (powering your devices), each light indicates 25% worth of battery remaining (e.g. four lights mean 75% to 100% remaining, one light means 0% to 25% remaining, etc.). The LED lights remain solid when in use. While charging the unit, the lights have similar meanings except that the quarter of the battery currently being charged is indicated by a blinking LED (e.g. if the battery is charging in the 50% to 75% range, there will be two solid LED lights and one blinking). When a particular quarter finishes charging, the LED light for that quarter changes from blinking to solid and then the next quarter begins blinking until all four quarters of the battery are charged. When looking at the unit from the end with the ports, the LED lights increase in value from left to right.That’s my best assessment of the usage of the battery pack. I apologize for any incorrect or missing information.

Love this!
Having a portable charger is a game changer. I didn’t want to spend too much so I took a chance but this is very good quality and has a sturdy build. It does take a while to fully charge, but once you do you won’t have to charge it again for a few days. It’s about the size of a cell phone and feels comfortable in your hand. I also like that I can use whatever length USB cord I have on hand. Definitely recommend!

Read this before you think it quit
I recently bought this and it was working great, but then I tried to charge my phone with this power bank using a USB C-to-USB C cable, and then it quit charging. So I switched to a normal USB charger cable and tried to charge my phone with this power bank, but it would not do anything. Pressing the button also did nothing, so I thought I was going to have to return this power bank. But then I decided to do a quick test by charging the power bank up briefly to see if that corrected the problem. It did correct the problem. After that it continued to work normally with no problems. So I think with this power bank if you try to charge your phone with the small usb-c port in the middle, you end up confusing the charger and making it think that its battery is completely dead, and so it just shuts off. So then you have to revive it by giving it a brief charge through that same port. So just don’t try to use that port in the middle for charging your phone. It’s only for charging the power bank.

Mine works great so far
I bought two of these over a two or three day period. I can’t find one, because I’m not very organized. LOL The one I did find charged up pretty quickly for me. I then charged my Pixel 7 with it and it worked just like it was advertised to. I’m not sure it’s got as much power as advertised, but I really don’t care about that. It’s a nice, well priced, well made unit. I have about 8 of these power banks now, all different sizes and brands. They’re really handy and nice to have just in case we can’t recharge our stuff. Great and quick Amazon delivery as always.

Yes, it takes a long time to fully charge (it’ll definitely need a full overnight) but it’s worth it. I’m able to get 2 full phone charges out of it. Seems to hold its charge well too but I haven’t had it that long. Weighs a little more than my phone (galaxy s23) but slim and easy to pack away anywhere. Worth every penny.

When it was first unpacked, it had about 25% charge, so I charged it using my Pixel 7 fast charger through the USC C port. Was up to 100% in about 3 hours. Charged my Pixel 7 phone from the battery pack from about 20% to full in about 1 1/2 hours using my USB C to USB C cable. Can’t ask for anything better than that. Unit is about the same size as my Pixel 7. Highly recommended.

A bit slow to charge, but seems to retain said charge for a long time. Can be used three times or so to recharge a cell phone dut I haven’t yet tried it for the purpose I bought it for; external power source for digital camcorder. My cam doesn’t have an external battery charger which limits its autonomy. The charger bank should be fine at providing extra usability when cam battery conks out on a job.My only negative, and its not specific to this product; we see more and more sealed products, batteries, external drives, USB hubs, etc. that can’t be opened for servicing and have to be replaced when they conk out for whatever reason… a product of exacerbated consumerism….

I have a fast charging adapter for my android phone. That’s what I used to charge this power bank. It took about 5 hrs. to charge it so all four lights were noonger blinking. I then charged my phone and although it indicated a cable connection, it was charging and that means it works! I read the reviews before purchasing, and decided to add mine to share that depending on what you charge the power bank with, it may take longer to charge it. I was pleasantly surprised that unlike some who said it was only charged 50% after 24 hours, it was fully charged after a few hours. I will revise my review if it fails me during a power outage, which what I bought it for.

Ordered this product 2 times . It charges great the first time and then will not charge ever again. Used 2 times and charged no problem but then canât recharge unit. Will be sending it back for a second and final time. Donât waste your money!!!
