doesn’t hold much charge

It’s very convenient to keep in my purse. It’s not uncomfortable to hold in my hand with my phone. I like that the cord is attached so I don’t have to keep a separate one on hand. I like the 4 lights on the top that indicate how much charge it has when it’s plugged in.The reason I took off stars is because it doesn’t hold much charge. I’ve tested this twice now. Both times I let the power bank fully charge while I let my phone (Moto G Power 2022) battery deplete down to 15%. Then I plugged the power bank into my phone and continued to use it to watch videos with my bluetooth earbuds while it charged. After about 2 hours, my phone only has about 65% charge and the power bank is depleted.Is it normal for these compact power banks to only hold enough charge for half of a phone battery?? Does it make a difference that I’m using my phone while it’s charging? My son claims that his small hand-held power bank (the round barrel type that attaches directly to the bottom of his phone with no cord) holds enough power to charge his battery all the way to 100% while he’s using it.I think I’ll plan to just keep this in my purse for emergencies and not rely on it for everyday use.
