A solidly functioning tablet
I got my tablet and quickly discovered that the micro usb port would not read anything that was plugged into it. I returned it and got my replace within 36 hours. GREAT service Amazon! I held onto the original one while I tested the new one VERY heavy. I did not want to have one worse then I had. After a week of intense testing I found the new one has no hardware issues at all. While this little system can handle up to 3 tasks well as so as I go to 4th task it really starts to slow down. I found the USB hub with the Ethernet connect an absolute MUST HAVE with this tablet. This wifi card is very weak. It could not read my wifi from 3 feet away. I LOVE that this device has a 12v power plug. This means as long as it is plugged in, it keeps going. (unlike my Asus T100) giving me much more use from this device. I like that it will fit into my clipboard for work use (without the keyboard). I find the size nice for document reading. The video is nice for casual short viewing. The speakers though sound way too poor quality too tinny. I bought a USB powered speaker system for more sound needy vids (which adds a backpack to the carrying). A big minus. All in all i like my RCA even with the features I find lacking for my needs. The biggest thorn to this item is the lack of documentation about it, the lack of supporting accessories (cases etc) and the lack of expansion ability.

Profiteering against this product by its own team working on it.
This product is absolute torture to use. I spent more then 20 hours trying to get it ready to use. It needed to go through a full restore on first use. It will not stop lagging as if there is a competition team working on this product making sure it will never work other ways then what win their competition, like the touch screen features will not work right as a competition with the keyboard and mouse pad that will not work right. I can not rely on this for anything. This thing is only good for going through the most massive torture by such a platform or target shooting. There is clearly a massive amount of the processor lower being used against my will and the presentation by the platform of what it should be used for. It likes to lag on mouse click. It is not as good as old 486s. The apps list accessed by using the windows key will not work. I updated as part of the first use and one of the updates will not properly download and install. Today it started no longer showing the onscreen volume adjustment display as operated by the keyboard. Facebook behaves as if it is specifically nearly disabled on this worse experience with a windows machine of my life. It is especially good at refusing input if my peripherals so it does things I do not want it too. It ignores input of my mouse use, and screen taps so often it is nearly failing to work when clicked or tapped more then 50 percent of the time. It shows that the taps and clicks have happened like what is being clicked on changing visually and then refuses to behave like it happened. It will not take input like navigating to one thing on a webpage and then something else right after that before the navigation happens, although showing the input was recognized by the interface, like the last thing tapped it clicked is highlight with changed colors. It will not let me setup my email as there is some kind of error as if it is refusing to work with Google as best it can. It behaves as if all processing is taking place remotely and I am just using it to visualize it part of the time.

Good low-end tablet/laptop for the money
OK, it’s low end. Don’t compare it with the $1200 SurfacePros because it’s not meant to be that, but overall this a very good little tablet/laptop if you are doing casual work or surfing. The HUGE complaint I have is that the speaker(s) are poor. It is advertised as having 2 Realtek stereo speakers, but only the right speaker works, and the sound is fairly weak. My Samsung cell phone has MUCH more volume, clarity and depth in it’s speaker. I sent it back thinking it was defective, but the replacement was exactly the same. I kept it this last time and will try downloading different drivers to see if it makes a difference but the sound is a disappointment. There are speaker holes on each side of the display, so one would assume that there are two speakers, but apparently RCA only put in one speaker on the right side, which is a bit idiotic. Headphones work great on this unit, so if you are planning on just using headphones, then definitely, this is an excellent low-end product and will be a great value for the money.

So much better than expected
This is a great value. I know it’s not super fast, but it is Windows 10 Home, 64 bit. Other review say its 32 bit, but mine is 64 bit as confirmed in system setup. 2GB Ram is adequate. It’s not upgradable, and the processor is a Celeron 1.1 Ghz. I bought it to replace my Surface RT, and this is better and more powerful than it was. I know you can more and get more speed, but I just want to browse the internet from my recliner and use apps from the Google store that the Surface RT could not run. For about 100 dollars you can’t go wrong. The keyboard is better than expected, although I won’t use it much. So far so good, I’ll update if the appeal of the laptop/tablet changes.

Gorgeous screen for the price but battery life is a joke
I bought this tablet exclusively for watching web TV and videos at home and camping. With 30 mins of battery life i need to have it always plugged in. Probably i’ll have to purchase a 12V power bank for camping use. USB charging is not working. Rarely (for the time) WiFi drops. Otherwise great device for the money: size, screen, win 10, lot of ports, detachable keyboard etc.
