Lovely device!
I needed to replace my old samsung J3 that I owned as a student. It really was all I could have afforded at the time. While it helped to fill a gap, it had its limitations in terms of memory and storage, but that is for another review. I unboxed and setup my new A51 last night and I must say I’m in love. It has a sleek body, feels lighter than the J3 and although its only a few hours since I’ve been using it, I’m very imporessed. I seemlessly transferred my info from the old to the new device using Smart Switch. I’ve also managed to add some apps that I was unable to have given the limited capacity of my old phone. So far, so good. No hitches nor glitches. I got the blue one which is absolutely beautiful! I’d read complaints about the OS being in Spanish, but upon initial startup you’re asked which language is your preferred language and the options are many. The only drawback why I’ve given it 4 stars and not 5 is that the battery life is a little disappointing. I fully charged it when I received it and in less than 24 hours the battery was down to 62%. Howeever, this may be due to the fact that I used it for a 2 hour Skype meeting this morning. (I wasn’t able to have the Skype app among others on my old phone, so now I have greater flexibility, already!) It also comes with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Good for those of us who are now working frrom home or are on the go every now and again. I will provide an update later. I would definitely recommend it as it is a good price – good value for money and has a dual sim feature for those who are so interested.

First of all, the main thing that drew me to this phone was it’s 64GB memory compared to my Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB which started acting weird after I started getting messages that my internal memory was low. Even though I added two separate128 sim cards, I still was getting the same error message and my phone started freezing up, taking a while to load and acted weird. So, back to what caught my attention about this phone, it’s 64GB memory. I read the other specs and fearures, but because I mostly use my phone to call, text or send messages and use the browsers and other basic fearures, I didn’t pay much attention to the other features. But, trust me, when I got it and started exploring with it, I actually like the features and other features I discovered, including the 2 sim slot which allows me to simultaneouly have 2 sims cards in. The other important thing for me was I needed a phone that would work with Verizon and one of the reviews mentioned that all I’ll need to do is transfer my old sim card to the new verizon phone sim, and it worked. NOTE: I had an old Verizon sim card that I transferred to this new Verizon compatible phone, but I don’t think if you have a sim card from another carrier that this will work or apply to you, so you may need a new sim card….that helped big time with the initial set up. Because I like smaller phones that can fit in my purse and tight spaces, I was a bit skeptic of upgrading from a 5.5″ phone to this phone that’s 6.4″, but when I got it, I fell in love with the bigger screen which is better for watching movies or viewing certain things in landscape mode versus the usual portrait view. I love that my Samsung Galaxy was sturdy, but this phone is by far lighter. I hope that doesn’t mean that it will be easier to break as a result. Oh, I also love that there is no flasing notification light that’s usually in the top left hand corner, because on my other phones, I found it very annoying and distracting. So, even if there’s a way to add or activate it on this phone, i won’t because I like it without that feature.My 2 CONS:1) Thus far, the charging cable came in the box, but it was too short compared to the other standard charging cables I’m used to. Probably I was just spoiled, so I bought a long charing cable and my problem hopefully will be solved soon when I receive it and it’s actually compatible/works.2) I didn’t read anywhere where it said it could be charged wirelessly, so I’ll miss that feature on my Samsung Galaxy S7.It’s a relatively newphone, so there’s still tons to explore, but I like everything about it including that I got a clear case, earphone in the package and that it has the feature that you could take a picture of items/barcodes to use when shopping online.

El A51 me parece un buen celular por su calidad-precio, yo lo compre por una cantidad relativamente baja, incluso estando mas barato a su versión previa, el A50. Después de usarlo por 2 meses no he tenido ningún problema con el celular y tiene constantes actualizaciones para mejorar su software.Lo que realmente me sorprendido de esta compra fue el envió, ya que prácticamente pedí el teléfono y 12 horas después ya lo tenia en mis manos. Ha sido el paquete que he recibido mas rápido de todos y quede muy satisfecho con su eficiencia y calidad de envió.

Como muchos tenía miedo de que me llegara una bolsa de frijoles o un juego de cartas pero tuve la fortuna de que me llegara el celular. Llego en perfectas condiciones, bien empacado y con los sellos de Samsung. La caja del celular contenía funda, cargador, manos libres y obviamente el celular.Durante la semana que llevo con el me ha parecido un buen equipo y a un muy buen precio, soporta tener varias aplicaciones en segundo plano y con vista emergente, es dual SIM y es bastante bonito.
