What a disaster! Waited a week without a fully functioning phone for this thing to make its way from Ohio all the way to Maryland. When it finally arrived, it was locked into Verizon. Useless! And clearly not as advertised.(Footnote to this review. Several days later I discovered a scrap of paper that must have come with the phone. It explained that the phone may indicate it’s locked, but it can be unlocked on Wi-Fi. I wish I had seen this little piece of paper sooner. Suggest the vendor put this information on a sticker attached to the phone so you can’t miss it. )

It’s Verizon unlocked, can’t get rid of the Verizon app that downloads new games every week but they are easy enough to delete. Only real issue is shutting off 5g data. I don’t have great 5g data coverage and it was causing a lot of problems, with my last a53 I was able to turn off 5g network easily but Verizon disabled that. I found a workaround on Google and now it’s fine.

PHONE RECEIVED WAS AS DESCRIBED
After seeing several reviews, I was concerned the phone wouldn’t be unlocked. It was. There was conflicting information in product description. In the main information, where it lists brand, model name, operating system, memory storage etc., where it says ‘wireless carrier’ it clearly says ‘Verizon wireless’, which was a concern, since my carrier is AT&T. Then further down, in the ‘About This Item’ section it says ‘GSM Unlocked Device, Compatible with Most GSM Carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS, etc. Will NOT work with CDMA Carriers Such as Verizon, Sprint’. I just popped the SIM card out of my old phone, and put it in the Galaxy A53, and it worked perfectly. Cosmetically, the phone looked almost new. I was completely satisfied with this purchase. I haven’t had it long enough to really know about the battery, face recognition or the fingerprint reader, but from all appearances, there is absolutely nothing wrong with phone, and I would buy it again.

El producto llego a tiempo y empaquetado de forma correcta. Todos los accesorios descritos venían incluidos y en buenas condiciones.Sin embargo el problema fue que después de cargarlo por completo y usarlo por al menos un par de horas el celular se reiniciaba constantemente de forma impredecible, y así siguió durante un par de días. Después de eso se hizo un reset de fábrica por software y el touch dejó de funcionar dejando el dispositivo inutilisable. Por lo que decidí pedir el reembolso. Espero ser ul unico con este problema, me parecía un buen celular y a un precio razonable.

MI CELULAR SE APAGA REPENTINAMENTE Y SE REINICA HASTA 5 VECES AL DIA CON RUIDO MUY GRAVE Y SE CALIENTA MUCHO.
