    All about that bass.
Soundcore has been hitting home runs in their wireless headsets and buds, and the Q11i is no exception. The design language is not all that special but is good-looking enough to take them on the road. I do wish the headband wasn’t as wide, meaning bring the sides closer. The headset is mostly plastic with a metal slider, and although the build quality feels kind of cheap, they seem well-made and sturdy. The buttons are quite tactile, which I prefer better than touch controls. The headband and ear pads are plush, super soft, and quite comfortable. The head clamping is light, but I still noticed my ears get hot and the top of my head a bit sore after a long while (2 hours or more). I would certainly not recommend them for exercising as I don’t know how they will react to sweat, but that is a personal preference. I appreciate the ability to take off the ear pads to wash or exchange them. They are collapsible which makes them very portable. The headset paired easily with my Pixel 9 phone and my Snapdragon Windows laptop simultaneously. The controls take some getting used to as they are not obvious to the touch, except for the Mode button. Nevertheless, the controls are responsive. I noticed no connectivity hiccups, even at a distance. Also, there were no discernable lag or sync issues when watching video content or playing games. The call quality is OK. I was heard clearly in semi-quiet environments, but I did notice lower-quality audio in loud or windy environments. These headphones do not offer noise cancellation, but the passive noise reduction works well when the earpads are properly worn. The same goes for ambient awareness, while it is difficult to hear things when wearing them, there is some level of awareness available. I will say that there is very little leakage at low-to-medium volume. The 60-hour battery life is a strong benefit, which may be due to not having ANC/Ambient support. I had them for a few days and they are at 60% and going strong. It helps that the headset features quick charging (5min=4hrs!).Keeping in mind that sound is highly subjective, I’d say that the Q11i is geared towards bass-oriented listeners. I listened to both high-quality HD streaming and lossless files. The tuning has a warm-dark deep “V” shape. The bass is strong but controlled. The midrange is subdued but still allows for rhythm instruments and some vocals to come through. The treble is still there, adding much-needed clarity. The soundstage is minimal, and the imaging is contained. It’s more of an intimate listening experience. The bass boost was unnecessary in my opinion, as the bass is already emphasized, and activating this mode makes them sound very muddy. These headphones are perfect for heavy bass music, but certainly not for critical listening. Oh, they are great for action-oriented movies too!The companion app does not bring anything to the table. There, you can just choose the sound mode and update the firmware. That’s it.I would highly recommend the Q11i for the young ones since they are fun, inexpensive headphones, that seem like they would take some punishment. Or as a secondary headset when the need for bass is just what you need.

    Wow
I am so very surprised by how nice these cans are. I own a recording studio and have the best wired headphones I can buy at work, but when it comes to personal electronics, I dont need multi-hundred dollar phones. I saw these and reluctantly grabbed them. I dont need much in the way of features or specs, I just want some headphones to wear at the gym or on the couch when the wife is watching sex and the city, and I need to check out. These Soundcore’s really do impress. First of all, they are very nicely made. The plastics are smooth and feel premium, the ear padding seals nicely, but are soft and sweat-free and do not squeeze my big head. The cans connected instantly to my phone with no issues and working them was a snap. The sound is really excellent. Its clean, pure and has great frequency response to my ears. The base is good, and not over the top and the highs are crisp. Its plenty loud, though Im sure teenagers will want something louder still. I honestly, didnt see much change when using the bass boost button, but perhaps with different music, it might have been more noticable. Sound and usability are top notch and I could not imagine anyone finding fault with the quality of either. Also, the packaging was very premium. The box was wrapped in tissue paper and inside the cardstock used was heavy and the texture was very nice.I could have easily bought a pair of very comparable headphones for 4-5 times the price of these but I would not have received a comparable boost in quality or features. One surprising note is that the logo on the outside of the muffs are very similar to another large national brand, not a coincidence Im sure.Great product from a good company.

    Great
Really nice for the price! The sound is clear and crisp. The bass is great. They charge fairly quickly and have a long battery life. They’re super comfortable and don’t squeeze my head or pinch my ears like my Beats do. But they also fit so well that they seem noise cancelling almost. Quite nice. The volume is a little wacky if you get a phone call though. Even though my ringer was on low, it came through so incredibly loud that my husband could hear it clearly across the room and my ears hurt for quite a time afterwards. My other sets of headphones damper the ringer but these seem to greatly amplify it for some reason. Not cool. I have to remember to turn my ringer off when I’m wearing these. Otherwise I really like these, especially for the price.

I’ve always liked Anker products, and their Soundcore line of audio equipment keeps evolving. The Q11i offers detailed tuning and Bluetooth and hardwired connections.Bluetooth connected instantly on my iPhone 16Pro, and the Q11i features a multiport connection. I appreciate the option of a hardwired connection, which comes in handy on long trips. The Q11i’s build quality is excellent. The plastic is solid and does not creak or flex, and I appreciate the metal headband sliders. The headband takes the most stress in headphones, so the metal will ensure these last. The ear cups are removable for cleaning or replacement. I wish all headphones offered this, as the ear cups are the first thing to get grungy in a set of cans. These cans are comfy. The cups and clamp are well-padded. I have a giant pumpkin head and could fit these on my head without feeling like my noggin was in a vice.Sound quality is objective, so I’ll not dwell on that as all of us have differing tastes in music. But to my ear, I found the Q11i to sound natural and nonfatiguing. There’s a nine-point equalizer with twenty-two presets to dial in your tone. You can also create and save a personal EQ through the Soundcore app. There’s a “Big Blue BASS button” that gives you an instant bass boost. My other headphones, that cost six times as much only have a three point equailizer.Speaking of controls, the Q11i uses physical buttons for all controls. I much prefer a tactile button to a digital control. These buttons are logically placed and easy to access with their raised buttons. All buttons are multifunction and work in the standard way.Making and receiving calls works well, and the wind-cancelling feature improves call quality. However, these headphones do not have active noise cancellation. If you need that feature, you can find it in the other headphones in the Q line. The Q11i has amazing battery life. I got over 50 hours out of a charge, and when dead, a five-minute top-up will give you four hours of runtime. (Gee, I wish my car charged that fast! 🙂 ) This long runtime is in part because these cans don’t have ANC, which eats batteries.Soundcore has really improved their app in the last year. The app is clean and easy to understand. In conclusion, the SOUNDCORE Q11i is a well-made, customizable headphone that offers a multiport connection at a very affordable price.

These Soundcore wireless Bluetooth headphones by Anker are very comfy to wear and sound really great to me!They have a terrific 60-hour playing time from a full charge, and a quick 5-minute charge will give you an extra 4 hours of listening! Included is a USB-C cable for charging. These phones paired quickly and easily with both my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and my desktop computer, with which I watch movies on my 4K 28″ monitor. They do not have active noise cancellation, but I live in a quiet home, so that’s not an issue for me. I’m no audiophile by any means, so I can’t give a detailed description of the sound quality — all I can say is that it sounds awesome to me, for both music and movies, with a great tonal range and a good, deep bass.I’m really enjoying using them, and can highly recommend them to anyone!5 BIG STARS!!!

The SoundCore Q11i is a no fril pair of close back over ears. There is no noise cancellation or audio passthrough. The sound quality is limited by the bluetooth codec so will notice differences depending on what your phone support. You can also expect a significanly better sound when it’s connected via a 3.5mm source. In term of sound quality, I would place the Q11i above the SoundCore SpaceOne (reviewed last year) and about the same as the Q20i. In fact, the Q11i seems to be a variation of the Q20i without noise cancellation, an upgrade to bluetooth 5.3 and the addition of a headphone jack.By default, in bluetooth mode, the sound signature is bass heavy. You can use the SoundCore App to adjust the EQ. The EQ setting is saved on the headphone so it will retain the selection when moving to another device. There is also a button dedicated to base boost on the headphone. Turning it off provide a more enjoyable sound. The 3.5mm input is more balanced and can sound significanly better given a good DAC. Depending on your supported bluetooth codec and whether you are using the 3.5mm jack, there will be a noticable difference in the highs. For example, the initial impact of a percussion instrument is sharp and well define via 3.5mm but sounds very blunt via bluetooth. Note that I am limited to AAC as I am an iPhone user. The sound imaging is one of the highlight of this pair of headphone. It’s very well define and it’s very easy to pin point the position. Imaging is better than my pair of Airpod Pro (2nd gen). The Q11i support multipoint. Two device can be connected at the same time however, only one source can play at a time. Switching between two source is fast and seemless. Note that multipoint is only between bluetooth. If the headphone is connected via the 3.5mm jack, bluetooth will be disabled entirely.Comfort wise, I think they are great. The headband is very comfortable and it put the perfect amount of pressure around the head and ears. The build is entirely in plastic but plastic has the advantages of being light. The headphone is not too heavy at 242g. My ears do get hot after a while but it’s not worse that other close back headphones. The battery life is exceptional and I truly believe the advertised 60 hours of run time. Charging is over USB-C and 5 minute of charging can provide 4 hours of playback. A full charge takes 2 hours.Over all, this is a good pair of headphone. The lack of noise cancellation and audio pass-through could be a big issue for some but it doesn’t bother me. The default sound signature is very bass heavy but that can be adjusted via the SoundCore app. This pair of headphones is also pricedsignificantly cheaper compared to my other headphones so in term of value, it can hold it’s own.

These are bass heavy, but that’s what my son loves. His other headphones he loved and wore almost daily started to fail and he was pretty bummed during our trip to Florida. He and I set these up and tried them out together and I’m genuinely impressed. You’re not going to get ANC at this price and the build quality isn’t that of a $500 pair, but these are comfortable and the smile on his face to have a good pair of functioning headphones made me happy. They paired easily and the best part believe it or not he was so happy about was how easy the ear cups were to replace. Twist and remove. I haven’t looked at how much replacements will be, but I plan to buy him a few because when I say he daily wears his headphones, it’s morning, afternoon, and night. Even in bed sometimes.

Overall, I love the soundcore products and this one is no exception. The headset is comfortable, comes in nice packaging and is simple to use. The (optional) app that comes with it is nice as well. The nicest thing about this headset is that you can connect to multiple devices simultaneously (dual connections). I connect to my phone and my laptop, so I can listen to stuff at my desk, and when I walk away, I can play something on my phone without delay. The only drawback of these headphones are that there is no ANC, but not having ANC at this price point is acceptable. It’s just something to know about.
