OMG
The air 4 was amazing as it is, but when I said they were little sub woofers these step it up a level or 4. Like where do they get the time to make these things so good. When I first started using soundpeats it was with the air 3 and I thought they were some random no name and tried them for the shape (not wanting to pay the apple premium). I didn’t expect to find a brand that was actually worth it but these things give airpods a run for their money. Every time I grab a new pair they find another way to make them better. Here I am today after having used the air 4 pro for a couple months and enjoying every bit soumdpeats has to offer. These things have the craziest pass through as well. I don’t know how they managed it but it’s perfect so perfect infact that if u have it on ur gonna have to play some bassy music just to make sure they’re in right, but don’t let that scare u as they don’t lose any quality either. Let’s let that be a testament to their comfort too. Like wth guys, I can hear everything like they’re not in my ears but the sound is like it’s surrounding me. The lows are so low that if ur not careful u will wind up feeling discombobulated. While the mids and highs keep Killin it at the same time unlike other bassy speakers these retain their volume in every aspect maintaining perfect clarity. The battery is good too leaving more play time between charges. I can’t wait to see how the newer air series earbuds do. Can’t believe I went back to earbuds with a rubber bit it makes all the difference. Worth every penny especially against apple. And since they want me to say it they pair to ur device easily if it supports Bluetooth audio it’ll do it. For mobile make sure ur using their app (peats audio) as that’s where u access all their settings along with a reset if u make them bug out (don’t spam the settings back and forth ð¤£ð).

Affordable with Good Quality
I’d originally picked up my Air4 Pro pair as a recommended alternative to Raycons — both on the price point, as well as the quality. I’ve been using these actively for a little over a month almost daily and I’ve been pretty pleased for the most part. The sound quality is surprisingly good for what you’re paying for. I haven’t had any problems with battery life, I usually get around 6 hours of use if I’m not using active noise cancellation or passthrough. Using ANC and passthrough brings it down to about 3-4 hours of use, which I think is a fair trade for the utility. The ANC is very effective, if you’re looking for something that will keep your walks relatively quiet then this will do the trick. Passthrough works like a charm and delivers well. Overall it all does what it says on the tin and doesn’t feel cheap about it.I think the trickiest part is the gesture controls. Sometimes they don’t register my touch, or I’ll go to adjust them and accidentally rewind or pause what I’m listening to. This is something I’ve gotten pretty used to, and I find myself using the gesture controls with decent success, now. Pausing when you remove your earbuds, or removal detection, can be a little finnicky. I find that my earbuds will pause when removed appropriately most of the time, but occasionally not. When they do pause on removal and when I reinsert them, they will usually resume just fine without issue.Sometimes, if I am eating, the earbuds will pause with the removal detection as well. This can be a bit annoying, but it’s a very specific issue that doesn’t really come up often.Overall, I would recommend the SoundPEATS Air4 Pro if you’re looking for a lower-medium noncommittal price for a pair of earbuds that still deliver without losing too much in quality. If I find that something comes up with my future use I’ll likely edit this review later.

Bluetooth compatibility
UPDATE: after I had returned these the company reached out and asked if I would be willing to try another set, and gave me some directions on turning on “Advanced” mode in the Bluetooth settings in Windows. I had never heard of this before, but after the second set had the same problem as the first and wouldn’t show up when discovering Bluetooth devices, I went digging. Turns out that Windows does in fact have a setting that was preventing the earbuds from showing up. In the Settings app under “Bluetooth & devices” and “Devices”, there’s a setting called “Bluetooth devices discovery” that is set to “Default”. Once I changed this to “Advanced”, the SoundPEATS earbuds showed right up and connected without any trouble.Once I got past this hurdle the earbuds were much easier to like – they sound pretty good and are pretty comfortable. I was even pleasantly surprised by the “Game Mode” feature, which reduced latency down to a level where it’s much less noticeable in video games. I would say the biggest negative is the case – it’s very cheap feeling and you have to rotate the earbuds 180 degrees before inserting them, which is different from every other set of earbuds I’ve used. But it’s a minor complaint and overall the earbuds themselves are well designed and I’m happy with them.I’m still knocking a star off of the rating because 1) I don’t understand why these earbuds need Bluetooth settings in Windows to be changed when every other set of Bluetooth earbuds and headphones don’t, and 2) the included paperwork with the earbuds doesn’t mention any of this. It’s obvious that SoundPEATS support is aware of the issue since they pointed me in this direction, but I feel like they should have made this clearer. For the next version I would recommend two things to SoundPEATS – make these easier to connect to Windows, and spend some more time and money on improving the case, especially since this is their top of the line model.ORIGINAL REVIEW: My use case – I was looking for an affordable set of Bluetooth earbuds that work with Windows so I could use them for video/games/casual use. I own an older set of SoundPEATS earbuds that have worked great over the years and I wanted to try a higher quality set from the company. I got these on sale for a great price considering the feature set.I was able to successfully pair these with both my iPhone and a MacBook Pro (which use the AAC codec), but unfortunately I couldn’t get these to work with two different computers running Windows – they wouldn’t show up when I repeatedly searched for Bluetooth devices. Other earbuds/headphones I own work fine, so I’m sure this wasn’t user error. I also made sure the earbuds were updated to the latest firmware using the SoundPEATS app for iOS, so I think there must be a bug in the current firmware. Besides the Bluetooth issues, I was also disappointed by the SoundPEATS app for iOS. The app is missing English translations in a few spots, and the English wording that is there is confusing. I was able to get it to work, but I wouldn’t say it was a great user experience for a native English speaker.I didn’t get a lot of time to test out the audio quality of these earbuds, but from what I heard when connected to my iPhone it sounded decent. The earbuds were also reasonably comfortable, which is important for me as I usually wear earbuds for extended periods of time. But overall I needed a set of earbuds that work with Windows and these let me down. If you’re looking at these earbuds and you’re only planning on using them with a phone they still may be worth a look, but if Bluetooth compatibility is important to you I would recommend looking elsewhere.
