Place carefully! Works great!
I put this in a 2022 Subaru Outback. I placed it in an unused space on the smooth glass display. Turns out I didn’t like it there and wanted to move it. The bond with the glass was VERY strong. I used a needle to slide under the back of the mount, between it and the glass, jabbing it in over and over to loosen the bond. Then I took a very sharp folding knife (a razor blade would do) and CAREFULLY slid it between the mount and the glass trying hard not to scratch the glass. The whole process took me about 45 minutes, but it came off clean and I was able to use the extra small round sticky pad included in the kit to place the mount in a better position. The magnet works fine – I used the rectangle metal plate, sticking to the back of my iPhone 12 case (I didn’t want to stick it to the phone itself) and it holds fine in normal driving. Bouncy or really rough terrain, or fast sudden curves, can make it come free, but for a magnetic stick-and-go, then stop-and-grab mount, I’ve been very happy with it. Just make sure if you mount it to a glass surface, you place it where you want it because it is very difficult to remove (which is probably a good thing).

I like the concept, but it’s not as practical as I thought. It’s overpriced for what it is & the magnetic stickers they provide are ugly & the circle one is larger than the magnet that’s already on my phone case so I’m not going to use those. Finding a flat surface on a rounded dashboard is impossible for a good mount. I ended up placing mine on the passenger’s side in the center console so if it falls while I’m driving at least it won’t be under my feet. I do like that it rotates so you can adjust it for use. I’d return it, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth so I’ll make do for now, but if I had it to do over & knowing what I know now, I would not buy.

Strong magnet, weak adhesive
3.5I like how easy this is to assemble and apply to your dash & phone. However, after just a few weeks of use, the magnet attached to my phone tends to come off when I pull my phone away from the magnet attached to my dash. I have to put my finger on the magnet as I pull it away from my dash in order for it to stay on otherwise I peel and stick again and again. The magnet is strong but the adhesive can be stronger.

Works great and is good value for the price. Only issue I noticed, that is probably unavoidable, is it starting to slip due to the heat. Had to take my phone off it until the ac cooled the vehicle enough. Outside of high temps. It works like a champ with no slippage and is just the right size to fit about anywhere you want to place it.

The magnets are very strong, you won’t feel a wobble and when you place it on, it will feel like it’s clicked into place. There is no way your device will drop.The bearing feels really premium to move and position and it will hold whatever position you want it to stay in.
