Professional Quality for Consumer Price
I’m a professional videographer. I also do small scale music production for video scores. I spend a lot of my time editing, and I needed a good pair of studio monitoring headphones that would give me accurate playback… no boosted bass or anything like that. I also needed something that would be very comfortable, since I may be wearing them for 8+ hours at a time. I took a chance on these because I’ve been happy with my other Tascam products, and they absolutely did not disappoint. Extremely comfortable. I barely even notice I’m wearing them. Very accurate audio. Just great all the way around. I do wish the cord was detachable, but for the price, I can’t complain.

Works Great
I use it to play my electric guitar without disturbing others. It fit perfectly into my Orange crush 12 amp.I also was able to wear a Bluetooth earbud under it and listen to a song while playing. You can hear both the song and guitar, with no trouble.This is my first use, no complaints yet. 20 minutes into use, seems to be quite comfortable.

Monitoring, not listening pleasure – perfecto.
I work in video production and needed over the ear monitoring of boom/lavalier microphones and these are the best bang for the buck! First pair was $20 elsewhere, but even at $45, this is perfect. Each camera has a set. They are accurate and comfortable. They are made well enough to withstand on-location travel shoots! If this is your purpose, these are you headphones. they do not disappoint! However, if you’re a serious audiophile and sipping fine scotch while listening to Stanley Clarke, invest in a nice pair of Sennheiser headphones. These are for monitoring and they do their job well.

Doesn’t quite work with my tascam recorder
I got this headset explicitly to you with my tascam recorder and it doesn’t fit in the headphone port quite right. I have to adjust it just slightly to get sound out of both speakers.
