The best car mount for iphone I’ve ever purchased
I almost didn’t purchase this item because of the very poor fakespot grade, however the quality of a magesafe case I purchased from the same company, coupled with some really convincing youtube videos I found, I decided to buy it — and I couldn’t be more happy. I have a small sports car that literally doesn’t have a completely flat surface anywhere I would be willing to have a phone mount. I also wanted a product where my phone wouldn’t fly off every 2 minutes — I drive pretty hard and have never found a magsafe mount that held my phone in place (currently an iPhone 13 Pro). I don’t interact with my phone hardly at all — I wanted the mount so I didn’t have to put the phone in my lap if I had a passenger in the car (which usually also means my 2 cup-holders — the only other place I could position my phone — were not available).This thing works better than advertised as far as I’m concerned. It has a very small footprint compared to other mounts I’ve tried, and after mounting it to a slightly convex surface and leaving it overnight, it hasn’t budged since and it feels very sturdy. The magnet is actually quite insane — I imagine the phone would probably come loose in a collision, but there’s no change my phone is coming off that magnet. I say maybe ‘too strong’, because when my wife put’s her phone on it, she can’t pull it off with one hand — not easily anyway — so she grabs the phone at the bottom and pulls is down (parallel) instead of trying to pop it out.I don’t write a lot of review – to be honest the only reason I wrote this one is because I very much disagree with the fakespot rating (F) on it. Needed a MagSafe car mount that wasn’t ugly and which could hold the phone both very securely and be unobtrusive. TORRAS to the rescue with this low-profile design that has very strong magnets and a sturdy ball-and-socket joint that stays put until *you* move it. Came complete with instructions and all the mounting supplies you’ll need.
