Reliable, easy to use phone.
This is my second 1 only because my original suffered years of dust, getting wet a few times, drops (had a good case) and multiple charging cycles, the charge port was able to outlive the phone.Ordered a carbon copy.Easily transfered my data and apps. Within minutes phone was activated. It did take most of an evening for all the updates to install. Voice quality, signal range, screen are all great. Hence my second 1 of same model. I seldom buy the same electronics due to support. I can say, so far updates have been great over the years. Activation was easy thru Tracfone website. Followed directions and was able to call, text within minutes. This model is somewhat old by today’s standards but for me, it’s more than held its value. The phone I replaced was still working great, just charge problem. That being said if I had to point out any flaws is that no charger comes with phone. Otherwise, my new 1 works great. My only suggestion is get a screen protector and a good clamshell case. Think of them as an insurance policy for your phone.

It’s a Samsung, say no more
I will say a little more. This is my second Samsung, and I’ve had a few others in between. Dollar for dollar, pound for pound, the Samsungs get the thumbs up for overall satisfaction in regards to features, construction, and performance. The A13 has been an excellent, unbeatable value.

Great price but will have to order charger with phone….
So far working good ! Easy set up and Tracfone customer service took no time to get phone on and transferred my minutes from old phone a10e to this one . Was needing a 5 g phone and this one great price ! Been with traction for years never a problem with them. Great service so far anywhere I go ! Hopefully phone won’t let me down and no glitches ! Did get 2 yr warranty. Amazon packaged well arriving on time but you will need a charger for phone this one came with none but thankfully I read reviews and ordered one when ordering phone.

Good value for the money
I have used it now for just over a month. The camera gives exceptionally crisp and clear photos which is very important since I’m a process server and bought this for my work. It has been reliable and i’ve had no problems with it. I do wish they would have included a USB C to the older USB standard instead of just USB C to USB C since my computer and wall adapters which I have don’t have a USB C port in them and they didn’t include a wall adapter in the package. The battery doesn’t last as long as I would have expected but that may just because my job apps use a lot of power; it’s usually down to 27% by the end of the day if I haven’t done anything to charge it. Having said that it’s an excellent value for the money and I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

missing sim card – revised review
I am not tech-savvy at all. I set up this phone and transferred everything from my old Samsung tracfone without a problem. There was no sim card in the package but the phone has worked fine without it for the few days I’ve used it. I thought the sim card was to save photos and I transfer mine to google photos right away so I thought I was ok. I was thinking about it and did some google searches and found that I do need a sim card or the phone might not work properly for some tasks. I had to contact Tracfone and they are sending me a sim card for $0.99. I should have checked first so that’s my fault but Samsung should have included a sim card as their description says. Except for the hassle of not including the sim card I am happy with this phone and the ease of setting it up and transferring the info from my old phone.Revised – I received the new sim card and opened the slot to put it in. I turned the phone slightly and a sim card fell out. It was in there all along but had slipped out of place. Much frustration over nothing. I really like this phone!

Great value IMO
This phone is an upgrade from a Galaxy J7 Crown Pro. I needed more storage and this phone provides 4 times that of the J7. Also like the speed of the better processor and longer battery life. It does have more length by a little less than an inch and I’d rather have lesser phone in my hand. The camera is much higher quality with 3 lenses and takes more realistic photos. Android 13 from my previous 9 (maxed out update) is also nice. Seem to be dealing with more ad problems with this phone so far, but hope to get those under control soon. For someone like me who would never spend hundreds to a thousand or more dollars for a smart phone (reedikalus), this phone is right in my niche and a great value at this price.

Tracfone Customer Service Is Useless
I’ve had this phone for 8 days now and it still does not work properly. I have tried customer service at both Samsung and Tracfone and they are both worthless. Not only is my phone still not working, I now have doubts it ever will. In addition to the phone not working, Tracfone, while in the process of supposedly helping me, has managed to clear my account of all of my remaining balances for Voice, Text, and Data and they claim I must have used them all!!!!! I’ve just lost about a half year of service and they claim there’s nothing they can do. The phone still doesn’t work.Yesterday I had to buy a 30 day subscription just to get texting to work. Then today when I tried to make a call I got a message saying “There is an issue with my service”. Now I can’t make or receive calls but I can text. They claimed it will take a half hour for them to fix it. that was an hour ago and it’s still not working. This is not so much a criticism of the phone, but of Tracfone. Steer clear of this phone from Tracfone. It’s an absolutely horrendous experience.Update 11/02/22. It is now 11 days since I received this Tracfone. It still doesn’t work properly. I have been on the phone (another phone) with Tracfone Customer Service everyday spending at times several hours. They cannot resolve the problem. They tell me they are updating my account and to wait for a certain period of time for the update to take affect. Then they tell me they will give me a call back at a certain time to check with me. Of course the call backs never come and the phone problems remain unresolved. There is no recourse. They will not connect me to a higher level of expertise, supervisory, or management level people.
