Tracfone Galaxy a14 5g
Great phone. I’m impressed by the speed of the processor and battery life. Vivid screen picture and finger print sensor works without issue. I had an a23 5g. I was not impressed. Sure the camera took amazing photos. Better than the a14 5g. But that was the only thing better. On sale at $99. Best galaxy I’ve owned since the a11.

Pretty fast cpu. Noticeable difference compared to the A03s. And internet connection seems to run faster too, even though at the top of my bar says “4GLTE” instead of 5G. Still working on that issue.But great buy so far.

I bought two Samsung Galaxy A14 phones (locked to Tracfone) to replace our older Samsung Galaxy phones and charged them both up before starting the activation process. The quick start guide says to âinsert the SIM cardâ into the tray (using the special tool they give you). You donât need a physical SIM card. The tray is actually empty and there is no SIM card with the phone, probably because this phone is locked to Tracfone (SIM card information is written into the phoneâs memory). It does not come with a charger or cord (not big deal because I have plenty of these) but does come with a USB-C to USB-C data transfer cable.Everything from my old phones transferred over to the new phones with no real issues using the Samsung Smart Switch app and a USB-C to USB-C data transfer cable (I used my own shorter cable, not the one they supplied). Text messages, contacts, apps, settings etc. transfer over from the old phone to the new phone. Be patient, this may take perhaps 10 to 15 minutes. Then it will take several minutes for the phone to unpack and install everything once transferred. I suspect some apps are automatically updated if necessary. Have your passwords ready for WIFI, Google, email, and other password protected apps etc. Once I got my WIFI, Google, and email accounts connected, I went into my existing Tracfone account and clicked on the Activate Phone tab. It then asks you if you want a new phone number or want to keep your old phone number. I kept my old numbers. Have the IMEI number ready thatâs printed on the red card included with the phone. Enter the information and the phone number transfer usually takes only a few minutes. The new phone has to be restarted after the old phone stops working for the change to take place.Iâm very satisfied with the phones I bought. They are inexpensive and do everything I want them to do and more.

Four months after purchase of this new phone on Amazon, the touch screen intermittently stops working. If I cycle power, it starts working again. It appears to be a software issue as it’s not a “hard failure”. When the phone works, I like it but it doesn’t always function properly.UPDATE: After several months of operation, the second Samsung A14 I bought has the SAME PROBLEM AS THE FIRST. The touchscreen intermittently stops working and again, if I cycle power, it works for a while. I’m guessing it has some sort of problem with software updates causing the problem. Now I have to buy yet another cellphone and set it up. It certainly won’t be a Samsung A14!

wanted to upgrade to 5G for travel and thought for the price, under $200 would give this one a try. Arrived as promised, was SUPER easy to transfer EVERYTHING from A03s directly to this phone, used WIFI ti transfer, did not spot the cable until I was finished, oh well…. Does NOT cove with a charger, just the cord, so we have ordered two chargers.. Excellent storage for our needs, as we are seniors and do not use the phone for anything other than texting, and making calls, strange right… the camera is good quality for our needs. We bought two…

It is very easy to set up and good size.I was very hesitant at first since this is my first Samsung Galaxy A series phone.I’ve always been using the Samsung Galaxy S series forever.
