Great bargain on powerful little computer
I have been running Thinkcentre Tiny’s for many years and upgrading pretty much every year. This year the new Thinkcentre was giving me trouble loading Linux and on a whim I picked up this little box. It loaded FreeBSD, Devuan, Gentoo, and Ubuntu no problem. Never touched the BIOS.I have settled into dual booting FreeBSD and Devuan for now. I upgraded to 32gb memory, 2tb NVMe and a 4tb SSD. All performing swimmingly.It has been running 24/7 since purchase and stays relatively cool at a usual 110 F. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. Way less than the Thinkcentres and just as robust. If this lasts until my next upgrade I will buy the upgraded version of this Trigkey without hesitation.It is a great linux/unix box. I love it and you will too.

Perfect for self-hosting always-on space saving home server
Needed a quick enough machine to use as a medium duty home server. This thing works amazing for that, the performance is comparable to M1 soc to my surprise. It was my first experience with a mini pc so I was delighted that something so compact is so capable.I’ve thrown multiple self-hosting apps at it and it ate all of it up without hiccups. The fan noise can be heard when it’s running full throttle, but it’s not too loud at any time, and this slightly order Ryzen with 7nm manufacturing so this is expected. If you limit the CPU frequency and use powersaving CPU schedulers the fan doesn’t even turn on while still maintaining very good performance.The port selection is good, and the build though plastic is understated and professional looking. The thing is so tiny it can go behind the monitor and takes very less space on the desk. I didn’t run into any weird bugs or BIOS weirdness, so good on Trigkey for getting out-of-way.Been running it non-stop for exactly a year now, and I would get this even today for the price. Highly recommend!

Good Media PC – NOT A GAMING COMPUTER.
THIS IS NOT A GAMING COMPUTER! Despite having a pretty powerful CPU for the price, there is not discrete Graphics Card, so this isn’t going to run any games newer than 15 years old at more than 20 stuttery FPS on the lowest settings. I have an actual gaming laptop, and have built several gaming computers, so I have a decent idea of what I’m talking about.I use this computer as a dedicated media PC that is up on my TV stand directly connected to my TV so we can watch whatever we want without ads (hooray for adblockers). It runs stuff at 4K with no problem on a 55″ 4K samsung TV. This would also work great as a regular home desktop for schoolwork or if you work from home. Once again, since it doesn’t have a dedicated graphics card, you won’t be able to do any crazy video editing, but you could probably do some light work like editing together 1 minute videos like for youtube shorts for example. Anything more and you’ll probably be waiting a long time for things to process/render to the finished product.

Keeps shutting down on its own – UPDATE: issue finally figured out with tech support
Update 4/20/2023: I have been pleasantly surprised with the tech support I received from this seller. I heard back from someone directly via email as well as someone through Amazon. I was provided with detailed troubleshooting instructions and their tech support followed up promptly to see how the steps worked.Initial troubleshooting did not resolve the issue and the seller had me request a replacement under warranty, which I received within two days of submitting the request. Unfortunately, the replacement unit did the same thing – would shut off on its own overnight, even if in the middle of a process. This was very discouraging and frustrating, however, tech support suggested I go into the BIOS and disable the S3 shutdown scenario and this did the trick. This little PC has been running non-stop since, and I’m pleased so far with how it is performing.I have raised my rating to four stars. Their tech support team did a great job and deserves all the credit for the higher score. Had i not had the issue in the first place, I may have given this 5 stars, but I cannot justify that given what happened – and I am guessing a lot of people would not feel comfortable doing all of the troubleshooting steps I did. Regardless, at this point I consider this unit to have been a bargain at just under $300. My previous desktop had crashed and I was having trouble finding a desktop I wanted for under $1k. This little Trigkey packs a pretty good punch in a very small housing and at a very reasonable price. Hopefully, there are no negative surprises awaiting me as the unit ages. ———————————————————————————————————————Like the size and ports/interface but this shuts itself off every day. Trigkey doesnât appear to have much support info online that I could find – did find a support email address but have not heard back yet. No knowledge base or user forums I could find. Disappointed at this point.Update: got a quick response to my email with specific and detailed troubleshooting information and procedures, so while the issue is yet to be revised I am tentatively pleased with their support responsiveness.

Easy Setup
I just received my new unit. Set it up in minutes. I couldn’t me more impressed with the speed and ease of setup. I’m not a gamer, but it is nice to not have to wait to load up pages and open programs. It integrated well with my old monitor (with a VGA adapter to HDMI) and old printer.

These mini PCs that use a laptop CPU and draw a tiny amount of power are the future of desktop PCs I think. They are very powerful and can handle all regular office-like activities. Gaming or heavy-duty video processing will always benefit from high performance, but these units are great for everything else. Quite impressive.

I really like this mini PC. I got this for my lab and really working nice. Sometimes the fan is noisy. Initially for about 2 months there was no noise and all of a sudden it started to make noise. Nothing too loud, but for a quite basement, you can hear it. I would recommend this product and worth the value.

So I bought this to replace an HP all-in-one desktop, that can’t seem to handle everything I do while using it.On this G3, (512 G) I run two 22″ screens and on each screen I will have two separate desktops open. And in each of those desktops I will have at least 20 different open program and internet tabs including Spotify playing music and YouTube playing video as well as other very large programs like Adobe creative suite, MS office, Canva and two separate Gmail accounts open just as some examples. I switch back and forth within tabs doing school work, building websites, writing content in word, building info graphics, and/or animations, and after all of that running simultaneously, I can’t get this PC to freeze up, or barely even slow down. Now I’m not a gamer in any way so in comparison to what it takes to run top of the line computer games vs. what I’m doing with mine, I really don’t know the statistics, but, I can honestly say that how I do what I do, to most people, seems absolutely ridiculous and I cannot get this thing to bog down whatsoever. I also purchased 2tb memory expansion that I have not yet installed, and now that I have put this thing to the test I’m not sure I even need it.I bought the G3 PC, 2×20″ PC screens, and wireless keyboard and mouse and all together, my purchase came to $440. Great Value for the Price. I don’t have a single complaint to share about it.
