Ulefone Ultra Armor 23 review
First thing you should know, as of right now,WIFI CALLING DOES NOT WORK. (yet)It’s the one most important feature for me that MUST work. I use mint mobile (a T-Mobile sub carrier aka mvno) and just got off the phone with their tech support. I explained to them in detail the issue and they acknowledged that because it is a new model phone that they will let their engineers know to see if they can provision from their end. This phone does have the wifi calling feature and I do have it enabled but it won’t connect to their system.If you go to their byob web page, you can select the Brand Ulefone and the model Ultra armor 23 and the site will say it is compatible but if you enter the IMEI of the phone (IMEI 1 or IMEI 2, one for each sim card) it shows not compatible so this issue has to be fixed on their side. I was told up to 48 hours they will fix so I really don’t know if I should laugh at that promise or just wait it out to see when and continue to call until something is done.Now with that being said, the ultra armor 23 is actually very good apart from wifi calling not working at the moment. This phone is very snappy fast and the camera is very very good and excellent quality and the night vision works extremely well. Also has a built-in FM radio app that is very convenient. Also the 5g is definitely compatible with TMobile and Mint mobile and works very well. You will not be disappointed with this phone except that wifi calling is not working as of this review which once my carrier gets that working I will update this review and maybe even add pictures.Currently I only give 4 stars because of wifi calling not working and I really don’t know ultimately what’s up with it if it turns out to be the phone that’s bad or if the carrier hasn’t configured their end yet. Time will tell.
