Are you ready to cool down your fish? Our 500-gallon fish tank cooling system is perfect for summer use and tank sizes. This water chiller provides a healthy environment for small fish, shrimp, vegetables, and fruits, equipped with a 1.5hp Freon-free compressor that lowers the temperature.
Adopts energy-saving Freon-free compressor and r134a refrigerant, circulating refrigeration without pollution. Keep your 500 gal water tank at the ideal temperature range of 65℉-80℉ perfectly. This is especially important for larger water tanks during hot summer months.
The compressor will release some heat during the cooling process, so we need to leave enough space between the aquarium cooler and the wall to dissipate the heat, at least 24”. Heat generation indicates that the compressor is working properly and will not cause damage.
The water chiller comes with a clear control panel for easy temperature setting. By the way, regular maintenance is required. Turn off and unplug the power before maintenance.

I have had my pond chiller for a few weeks now and was money well spent. I set the temperature and thatâs all I needed to do. My pond is a perfect temperature 24 hours a day. My fish are thrilled. I am happy all is well.

Exceded expectations.
I use this to chill 4 hydroponic reservoirs. It easily keeps up with the worst of Texas heat and keeps my nutrient water below 70 degrees. I was plesently surprised by the quality of the plumbing fittings that come with it. I’m used to chinese products doing a great job with electronics, a reasonable job at mechanics for a very low price but typically using absolute crap hardware and accessories. Like I said, everything here is great quality and I’m quite happy.

Broken down after 4 months
Bought it on 5/26, delivered 6/10. Now 9/24, itâs already broken. The machine power is on, temperature measurement is on, the fan doesnât run no more. Probably the engine is bad. For this kind of price for less than 4 months of use? Itâs ridiculous .

Customer service worthless
The temperature on the display is not accurate. If you get a thermometer inside the water, there is a 5° difference between the actual water temperature and what the chiller is displaying. The thermometer was placed right at the outlet. I’ve used this thermometer with other chillers and it has always been spot on. I spoke with customer service and they were no help. If you get this product just hope it runs good because otherwise your screwed.

Make sure you get the proper pump or it will not work
Great chiller and it gets ice cold, one thing is if you don’t have the proper pump or if your using a filter that gets dirty fast , the unit will shut the compressor down which I believe is a safety feature. Make sure you get a strong enough pump and clean the filter regularly or it will not cool the water . Just fyi

Works for a cold plunge tub.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this unit given the price compared to other water chillers because it was pretty cheap and holy cow this thing does exactly what I wanted it to. It is definitely much bigger than the other chillers advertised for cold plunges but those go for over 1200$ just for a 1HP. Can hold my tub at 45 degrees Fahrenheit no problem in my garage in AZ with ambient temp being around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Temp setting goes all the way down to 36 but I haven’t taken it lower than 44. Cant beat the price for what you get.

Compressor does not work
The boxing came undamaged so it must have shipped with bent fins, which I can deal with because it doesnât affect the performance. But the compressor will not kick on, every 30-45 seconds it tries but kicks right back off. Poor quality control and from my correspondence with an another individual his unit is doing the same thing. In the process of trying to ship back but itâs unclear if I have to pay for shipping.I wanted to update my review. Contacted the company and they sent a new unit free of charge and the 2nd unit works perfectly. Arrived without any damage.

Works great for my home built cold plunge
I bought this to chill my home built cold plunge, and so far it is working awesome. Keeps it nice and cold at my preferred temp of 47f (it will go colder!!)

Hook it up, plugged it in. Turned it on. It is really easy to set the temperature, the fan comes on, but the compressor does not. So it does not chill my fish tank. Very disappointed, donât know where to take it to have it looked at. Didnât keep the box, thinking it would work, to send it back to Amazon. Contacted Amazon, still havenât gotten a response back. If something does not happen, it was a very expensive piece of garbage.
