The part that holds the phone moves too much
I just bought this cell phone holder, so it’s not like it’s had time to “wear out” it seemed to work fine once and then the top piece that holds the phone won’t stay put. I’ve adjusted things many times and it just isn’t working for me. It still holds the phone, but not the way I need it. It has a very sturdy grip and I like the way it fits in my cup holder.

Have a cup holder on the treadmill. Never use water so put this holder here for phone instead. Much easier access to the tunes now.

Still holding strong
I have had this product for over 2 and half years going on 3 years and it’s still holding strong and firm. The components are still in tact with minimal wear and tare. It’s still sturdy magnet is powerful. Overall good product and durable.The only thing I dislike is the fact that you need a metal plate to put on the back of the phone to give it the extra magnetic strength. But it works very well. Some of the phones metal back may not hold very well, so having that plate helps big. I highly recommend this product all around, magnet is strong adjustable height to liking and pretty durable.One thing I would like this company to do is come out with a mag safe style circular magnetic interchangeable swap out for the square shape one. It is a little small for mag safe phone cases and some don’t work well with the square shape magnet. If you can swap out the old square shape magnet for a little bigger in diameter mag safe style magnet will be great. If I can just swap out the square one for a circular one that would be mint. Make it happen wixgear.

2 Broke within 14 months!
This product was working fine until it wasn’t. I bought this stand in February of 2023 and have had 2 of them break during that time. The first time, the company replaced the stand no problem under the warranty. The second time, however, because the total amount of time of the warranty had elapsed (12 months,) they would not honor the warranty. It’s not my fault the second one broke, and I feel that the company should have some ability to make an exception to the warranty due to it having already been replaced once in the 12 month period. I do not feel that they wanted to work with me as they made it very clear that warranty was only 12 months no matter how of them I would’ve had. Too bad, it’s not a bad unit, just doesn’t hold up very well (at least in my case.)

Dont Think About It Just Buy It
First, I don’t write reviews often but when something this good comes along and truly is such a great way to have the cellphone in the car I had to write. This is by far the best car cell phone holder I have ever used, and I have tried plenty over the years. It fits snuggly in the cup holder of my 2021 Honda Passport which has deep cup holders but no problems with this holder. I love that it has a magnet to attach the phone, doesn’t matter what size phone I have it will work. I didn’t used the metal plates that come with it as I have a ring pop socket on the back of my phone and that just clamps right to the magnet and holds solid. What is great that if I need to change cars this will be so easy to take with me and it has a small footprint which I like. I could easily pack in suitcase and take with me if I need to rent a car. It truly is no fuss and so simple to use. Just place into the cup holder and turn the knob until it is secure and place the metal plate on your phone if needed and away you go!

Work well now but nut for the neck had to be replaced.
Very easy to install and grips the cup holder very well. The stability of the extendable arm is the only real criticism I have. The latching nut is a little too ‘soft’. It will work fine if your phone is not heavy (or the case plus the phone). So far it copes with my a51 and its case, but only just. If the nut that keeps the arm in place loosens with time I can forsee it becoming a pain in the neck (ha ha). I almost rated it 3, so maybe a 3 1/2.Update – the ‘soft’ nut became stripped about 3 weeks later. Fortunately the nut an bot are a standard size so was able to replace. Back to a 3.
