The WORKPRO 48â Workbench is worth it!!!
The packaging was good and suffered no dings or damage. After unpacking the bench, the hardware (screws) had come out of the small zip bag. I ensured I had all the required hardware before starting. 22 tapping screws and 8 bolts. All there. I suggest you give instructions a good review before starting to understand how the legs and side rails connect. Not super hard to figure out but recommended. The legs are already bolted. You just need to tighten after you get the side rails connected to each side. I recommend two people and placing the frame on a work table. I have two horses and a couple of boards as my upholstery work top. That helped. Make sure you donât tighten the screws until youâve gotten the frame and corner pieces lined up properly. Once you have the frame together, proceed with placing the wood top on your work table and then place frame according to the position tabs. I suggest you use a tape measure to ensure the frame is even on all sides. You will need to drill holes where the tapping screws go into the slots. Remember you have 22 tapping screws. Once you have that done, screw the screws just so but not tight. The other part when you tighten the bolts on the legs use the hex wrench and 13 mm spanner (wrench) to tighten the bolts on the legs. Once you have all your hardware positioned, tighten them. The table turned out great. It seems to be a sturdy top and legs. Iâm using it for my heavy duty sewing machine. Havenât tested it yet but will soon. The frame is good quality and so is the rubber wood top. Worth the money. I want have to worry about my table vibrating when I use my sewing machine or the table buckling under the weight.I recommend buying this table if you are looking a sturdy workbench. It can be used for multiple purposes. Nice looking top. And can blend in with your decor or it can be used in your garage or storage room. One other thing it does not fold so be intentional about where you want to place it. Does not come with wheeles.

Sturdy and stable
This workbench is sturdy and a good size for a project table. That’s the main reason I got it was for the steel legs to be able to withstand more weight pressed on it. I do like the mounted outlet extension on the side of the table although the cord could be a little longer. There are a couple cons though.1. Adjusting the legs is a hassle. The legs adjust manually so you have to bring out the socket ratchet and an allen key and take out 2 screws each leg and then adjust to the correct height. I knew it wasn’t a motorized adjustable height, but there has to be an easier design to adjust the leg height than that.2. Quite an odd chemical and even cigarette smoke smell to it, at least initially. Seems to be decreasing over the past several days.Overall I do like the table though and it will get used daily.

Made My Wife Very Happy
We recently moved into a new condo, with a full basement. Needed a work area in the basement for my home do it yourself projects. so I bought a workbench, a stool, a pegboard wall panel, two wall cabinets, and a ceiling light. The finished product looks great and works well. Only problem is that my wife promptly took over my work area for all her Christmas decorating projects. So I decided to make a duplicate my new work area, and give it to my wife as a Christmas present. This workbench is part of that gift. The bench is very sturdy, looks great, is perfect for hobby and decorating work. Also for gift wrapping. Very pleased. So is my wife.

Good quality, great value
I needed a table long enough to support 2 sewing machines, and yet narrow enough to accommodate the limited space in my sewing room. I can now embroider, without the machine shaking, because of an u sturdy table! Be aware, this is a HEAVY package! Though easy to assemble, as an elderly woman, I needed to get help, to even bring the package into my home, after it was delivered at my front door.

Very sturdy with some minor hacks
I have it set to the middle height. I’m actually a bit surprised by how sturdy it is. The feet are huge which is great. There were some minor imperfections discovered during assembly. One of the two crossbars going lengthwise that you bolt to the legs and screw down into the bottom of the wood was not quite right. The holes that were drilled into it where the bolts go into the legs made it so the crossbar floated above the bottom of the table top (table top is sitting with top down). I had to file the holes to make them bigger so that the bar made contact with the wood. Not too big of a deal, but you’ll need a file that will fit in those holes.Another thing I noticed was when tightening the two bolts that tighten the two telescoping leg pieces together (the bolts that control the height of the workbench), there was play going lengthwise (left and right when standing in front of the workbench). This looked like it was for sure going to affect stability. So I hammered some wood shims in there to fill that gap up and stop any movement back and forth that I was seeing in there, and that took care of that. The center beam that goes lengthwise across the bottom of the workbench is kind of a wonky situation. The ends of the beam sit on top of the base plate of the leg assemblies, which means it floats off the bottom of the wood top by a significant amount. So I shimmed under each side of the holes where you screw the beam into the wood. I used longer screws of my own. I also used longer screws to screw down each of the ends of the center beam where it sits on top of the leg assemblies. I did this because the screws need to cover the thickness of the metal of the leg assembly and also the center beam itself.None of this to me was enough to remove a star. I’m just glad it turned out to be so sturdy.[EDIT] I think the feet are worth emphasizing. They are very heavy duty and large, with plenty of firm protective padding. I think they add to the sturdiness. I have this inside the house on indoor flooring with some heavy equipment on it and I don’t have any worries of floor damage at all because of the feet. I use it as a workbench.
