Perfect for my purpose
I bought these to use with a Yamaha P225b piano, and they sound the same to me as the piano with its built -in speakers. I am not qualified to make minute distinctions about headphones (or speakers, for that matter), but I’m pretty sure most people would find these excellent in their price range. They are comfortable and fit well. I’ve only had them a couple of days, so can’t address durability, but they don’t seem flimsy. I wouldn’t consider giving them to rowdy children, but I think they’ll hold up just fine for an adult.

Big Sound in a Small Package
Ive had these headphones for only a few days and Iâm already very satisfied with this purchase. This small pair of headphones from Yamaha produces high fidelity sound – the sound output is accurate and nuanced. The sound quality is so good that it seems like Iâm hearing my instrument directly and not through headphones.Iâve had bigger and much more expensive sets of headphones, but this pair from Yamaha is hard to beat in both sound quality and price. In addition, it is very light and I can wear it for hours without strain. It also comes with a matched 6.5mm adaptor plug for my Casio keyboard, and thatâs one item that I donât have to buy separately. My money was well spent on this product.

Amazon- i don’t like how go packaging came. Literally in the box the headphones are in, not in another box. It was very easy for someone to steal since they can see exactly what the item was.Product- the sound is really good but they’re very light and flimsy. Somewhat don’t cover my entire ear. I feel like for the brand they should be a little better, not as cheap feeling…. But again, the sound is great on a Yamaha electric piano.

Work very well
I purchased these to go with my Yamaha P225 digital piano so that I would not disturb others while I am practicing. They work very well. They are lightweight and very comfortable, and the cord is long enough so as not to interfere with my playing action. They come with a 3.5mm plug but also an adapter to the larger plug style that interfaces directly to the piano jack. With the headphones on, I cannot tell any difference between the sound in the headphones and the sound from the piano speakers. Great product.

I was specifically looking for a pair of inexpensive decent headphones for my digital Keyboard and found these Yamaha HPH-50B Compact Closed-Back Headphones at Piano Héritage Inc. They fit my budget, sound great, are lightweight, comfy, come with 2 jacks (6.35mm & 3.5mm), the earpieces rotate and they come with a 6 foot light cord.

My daughter loves these. She has been using them for almost a month and often prefers to play with the headphones on. I looked at much pricier headphones but I am totally satisfied with our purchase and would make the same choice again for my daughter while she plays piano.
