2 Week Review – Solid Option
Iâve been using this charger for almost 2 weeks now, and it is slowly becoming my new favorite go-to charger for my phone, AirPods, etc. Many of the negative reviews I read on this item complained of heat when charging; and yes, while using a wireless charger in general releases a lot more heat, the only time I had an issue with this charger was when I was fast chargingâlike using a 20+ watt power adapter. I personally havenât had any issues with unusual excess heat when plugging this charger into any normal non-fast charging outlet (like my laptop, pc, a dock or dongle, USB-C outlet, etc.), thus why I tend to carry this cable in my bag with me when I leave home. Despite this, my iPhone always gets hot when wireless fast-charging, and I personally didnât notice a difference between the heat generated while using this one opposed to any of my other wireless chargers; although my Apple MagSafe charger is the only one that my phone doesnât get as hot with. Ultimately, this has only been a problem when I’m trying to use my phone while wireless charging, in which case (from my experience), it always exists regardless of the brand (if heat is a dealbreaker for you, there are MagSafe chargers with active cooling fans on the back that actually work very well, but they also can be kind of expensive unfortunately). My initial impressions of this Zerolemon charger were of how surprisingly actually high quality it looked and felt in my hands. Maybe Iâm too used to the pictures looking better than the product, but all I can say is it just looks and feels good. The puckâs casing is the type of metal that feels cold to the touch, itâs polished smooth with a color finish that resembles the metal cases of a MacBook or iPad, the cable itself is stiff and is sturdy enough to stand up straight without flopping over when held up, etc. In my opinion, this charger has a premium-feeling designânot like an e-waste Apple copyâthat feels a bit more focused on function and long-term use. I bought the blue version which is 1) a color Apple doesnât offer and 2) literally FEET longer than the longest MagSafe charger offered by Apple (which has been a blessing to cable manage under my desk). Personally, my favorite part of the design is the silver ring around the blue puck surface that separates the metal from the soft charging padâjust a nice small random detail. The charging works normally as one would expect and is functionally no different than other wireless chargers. The magnetsâwhich is one of the most important aspects of a MagSafe accessoryâare on the stronger end of those Iâve used (although the Apple MagSafe feels maybe a tad stronger but not significantly). The magnets in this charger feel a bit similar to those in my Anker 621 MagGo. Regardless, this Zerolemon puck has been strong enough to hold my phone up securely when in a vertical position or even when dangling.Overall, I believe this is a solid item for the price. It costs much less than the Apple version, feels legitimately premium (and all around basically soft, smooth, and tight feeling), has a really long cable, and just does what I need it to do. If youâre looking for a MagSafe charger but not wanting to spend upwards of $50 on a single cable and not wanting to buy something so cheap that itâs basically disposable, this seemed to be a decent option for me.

Genuinely Impressive!
I’m a big fan of both wireless charging, and of Apple’s older magnetic charging cables. When they announced that they were bringing back the MagSafe brand as a wireless charger that attached magnetically, I was naturally very interested. The $40 cost of the Apple-branded charger, however, kept me from actually experimenting with the technology.Until I heard that ZeroLemon had introduced its own MagSafe charger, and for half the cost of what Apple was asking. So I ordered one immediately, and after a few days of using it with my iPhone 12 Mini, I can absolutely say that ZeroLemon delivers on all of Apple’s MagSafe promises. The first thing I noticed after taking it out of the package was how good the overall product felt. The charging puck is very well constructed, and doesn’t feel like a non-Apple product in the slightest. This is a huge plus in my book, because it reassures me that I’m going to get a few years of use out of it. I also love the length of the cable that ZeroLemon has included. Given that MagSafe is designed to be used while its attached to the phone, having a long enough cable to reach the charging brick is key to the experience. There’s no need with this one to have it stuck permanently on a desk or night stand. The charging speed and performance seems solid. iOS–as far as I’m aware–is still pretty tight-lipped about revealing how fast a device is charging, so there’s no real indication of what speed the device is performing at. At no point in my use so far has it felt slow, however, and my battery percentage increased noticeably even while I was using it, which leads me to believe that it’s operating in at least one of the faster charging states. I wish Apple would reveal a bit more about this, so users could understand how their devices are performing. But given what we have to work with, I’m happy with what I’m getting from this charger. All told, this is an enormously impressive device. It’s everything I would have expected from Apple’s MagSafe chargers, but for half the price. I’ll absolutely be using this one for a long time.

Donât not buy. It is dangerous
This is my second one and this particular one Iâve used daily for a couple months now. Then one night I grabbed it to use it and it was so hot it nearly burned my hand and I threw it. It was that hot. It felt like I grabbed on to a hot frying pan for a brief, second. Iâm not over exaggerating, and I rarely leave a bad reviews. Iâm not a big complainer like some reviewers. But this is scary, It was not in use, nothing was on it or around it for it to react to. There wasnât anything else even on the table with it! As I said this is actually my second one. My first one I had for a year and it would get hot but not this hot, and only while in use. I thought my old phone was junk and messed it up so I bought a new one when I got a new phone. Iâm willing to bet it was the charger that messed up my old phone! Cooked it. I do believe it would have eventually caught fire if I had not discovered what it was doing and unplugged it! Itâs Not safe I wouldnât recommend!

I don’t know why nobody else seems to make mag-safe cahrgers with long cables. This was the only one I could find with a long cable. It looks good, it works well, but it is a bit expensive.
