Tiny earbuds have their merits in portability and discretion, though they often lack battery longevity. On the other hand, over-ear headphones excel in sound isolation and driver size but fall short in portability and long-term comfort.What I like about these headphones is they offer the best of both worlds: compact earbuds that tuck into your ears without invading your ear canals (a major plus for comfort), paired with a design that allows for a larger battery capacity. The cherry on top is the unique design, which lets you temporarily take the earbuds off without worrying about where to put them. Thanks to the neckband, they can simply dangle securely around your neck—no need to fumble with the case. A recurring issue with this category of headphones is the prevalence of in-ear-canal designs, which are uncomfortable and rarely stay put in my ears. Discovering a collar-style design with this type of earbud was a pleasant surprise. First and foremost, the battery life is stellar, with an advertised 100 hours of playback. Even if real-life performance hits 75% of that, I’ll still be impressed! Plus, the fast-charging feature (10 hours of playtime from just 15 minutes of charging) is fantastic.Pairing was straightforward and problem-free. What really impressed me, though, was the connection strength. With Bluetooth 5.3, the signal remains strong even in areas of my house where other headphones have struggled—a significant bonus. The controls are push-buttons that are flush with the surface, giving them a low-profile and elegant look. However, this design also poses a challenge: it can be cumbersome to locate the buttons quickly while on the go. There’s a bit of a learning curve to memorize their positions and functions without looking. As for sound quality, while it may not rival full-sized headphones or premium earbuds (which often cost 4-5 times as much), it gets sufficiently loud without distortion and delivers a very acceptable audio experience for its price range.The build quality feels polished, sturdy, and durable—but only time will tell. One minor concern is the exposed USB port. While it avoids the issue of silicone covers unexpectedly popping open (as I’ve experienced with other models), I hope it won’t collect dirt over time and impact functionality. I also appreciate thoughtful details like magnetic earbuds that can snap together to prevent tangling and the inclusion of a protective case, which makes them more portable and safeguards the delicate cables. Speaking of cables, I hope they hold up over time. My only wish is that the points where the cords exit the collar had better reinforcement, as that’s a potential weak spot.Overall, I might deduct half a point for these small concerns, but the form factor, impressive battery life, thoughtful design, and excellent value easily earn these headphones 4.5 stars – basically 5 stars in Amazon’s lingo.

Pretty good for office work – decent for pop music but no deep-deep bass
These fit well, especially with the different silicon sets that came with it. Best fit for me was one with the Spock-ear part, and the other non-Spock (my ears are just different on the left and right I guess)Sound is quite good with good separation and surround-sound effects, but don’t expect big bass – you really need over-the-ear headphones for that. But for pop music and being on video calls, they sound great.The microphone did pretty well too – it seemed best when I told the computer to not do automatic volume adjustment. It also seemed just a bit better when I told the computer to not do noise cancellation, but that was a subjective observation.If I could recommend two improvements, they would be:1. Get a good English translator for the instructions. There’s not much that you need the instructions for on these, but come on, if someone does read the instructions, they should be sensible2. Make the power and up-down buttons have some sort of raised markings. You can’t look at the collar piece when wearing it, but you also cant feel were the volume or mute buttons are. I guess with time you’ll just know, but you can’t tell where they are with your fingertips. Just a dot on each point that you can press would be enough. I might steal some of my wife’s fingernail polish just to make a few bumps on each.
