Excellent for the price!
I bought this to be my everyday bag for commuting to work, school, etc. It carries all the essentials I wanted it to– laptop (13″ MacBook Air), umbrella, a book or two, small notebook, water bottle, chargers, pens, and a small Tupperware for lunch, as well as some personal items I like to keep on hand like sunscreen, hand lotion, bandaids, tampons, medication, etc. It feels sturdy enough to hold all these things reliably, and is comfortable to carry as a tote. I will admit, carrying it as a backpack is a little less comfortable, especially if you have only a thin shirt on– with a puffy winter coat, it’s fine. The straps are obviously not padded, and the buckles in back also feel just a little uncomfortable on the shoulders, but this seems like something I can get used to. The other bags I was looking at (like Fjallraven’s totepack line or Carhartt’s convertible tote) were closer to the $100 range, so for this bag’s price point, I’m more than willing to overlook slight discomfort– It is a very light-weight bag overall, so I’m not expecting too much optimization out of it. I like that it has a light-colored lining so I can see its contents pretty easily, and the amount of internal pockets give me as much organization as I need. It’s also pretty quick and easy to convert from backpack to tote. I will say, however, that although the straps are adjustable so you can adjust the height of it in its backpack-form, that creates an issue when you convert back to tote-form, because if the length is radically different between straps, the bag will tilt to one side or the other instead of sitting evenly on your shoulder. Not a deal-breaker for me, but definitely inconvenient. I also can attest to its water-resistance– I wore it out in the snow and the melted droplets sat on the surface without being absorbed. Again, it is an inexpensive bag, so I’m not expecting it to have a hiking-pack level of waterproofness to withstand a downpour, but for my daily commute, I’m not worried that my laptop will get water damaged if I’m caught in the rain for a couple minutes before I can get to the bus shelter or get my umbrella out. This is also my own personal, aesthetic taste, but I like that it doesn’t have any big, flashy brand name or logo on it. It’s a very understated and clean design. I do wish it came in more colors!

Good work bag!
Itâs a good work bag and fits my 16â MacBook and other work essentials. Not the best for commuters if you want to put a lot of stuff in it. But good quality and easy to switch from tote to backpack.

Sturdy, convenient, just what I was looking for
Iâve only had this bag a few days but I love it already. I mostly just use it as a laptop bag for my 15â laptop and it works great. I like that it has interior and exterior pockets, feels sturdy enough, and I like the option of using it either as a backpack or a tote.

Useful Low Profile Convertible Bag
This bag is actually pretty perfect for my 1 mile walk to work. I wanted a water resistant east bag to carry to work and this bag meets all my criteria. I like the look and the option to wear it two ways. When empty itâs pretty thin/flat which makes it a useful tote for traveling, you could fold it and put it into a suitcase if you needed a tote. I donât think it would be a good option for a long commute with lots of walking and public transport since the straps would dig in. It wouldnât be my first choice for air travel since you canât attach it to a roller bag. It doesnât really have enough room for lunch unless you have a small bento style container or similar. It fits my 15 in laptop, mouse, double glasses case, various chargers, ear buds, a leather pouch for essentials, phone, keys, a medium water bottle, a book and snacks.

I love this totebag/backpack combo
I’ve been using a leather totebag for my “personal item” when I travel because I wanted something that was bigger than a purse that I could also fit more stuff in for a flight and use for shopping. But the leather itself is heavy and sometimes you’d don’t want to be bothered with a tote bag falling off your shoulder. So I went in search of something better and found this combo bag. It is very clever the way one of the straps converts of backpack straps. It’s the same size as my leather tote, but way lighter and has the benefit of the backpack straps. I recommend!

Great bag great price
So much room and multiple pockets in this. Easy to convert to a backpack. Especially for the price, the quality is really well done.

The construction is sturdy and canvas for the outer body seems like a strong nylon. The straps themselves I think are cotton? Can confirm it is fully lined with a laptop pocket and two other large internal pockets (no closures, can fit passports, large wallets, glasses cases etc. comfortably). Lining for the green is a pale cream colour with a large yellow pinstripe grid pattern on it. The zipper pull along the top of the bag is a nice contrasting mustard colour, which was a nice surprise. The key loop is really long and is attached to the inside of the outer front pocket, which has just a little circular velcro closure in the centre. Less security for more convenience, I suppose.Overall still a great bag…at least for my situation and needs!*Edit: Just realised there is also a rather inconspicuous zippered pocket in one of the internal pockets, as well as a well-hidden card pocket under the zipper inside the bag, too.

I had been looking for a bag of this style and quality for a very long time and this one is bang on. It’s light, fits everything I carry on my back or has handles that slide over my shoulder. The big plus is I wanted a fuss free easy zipper top which it has. I’m so happy with this purchase, and as well a great price.

I love this bag. The stitching and everything is good quality. Great to be able to convert without having to unclick straps etc.
